My son always has careless mistakes in the dictations. I have told him so many times he should be more careful, but he is still so careless. Maybe he doesn't know how the importance of dictations to the exams and isn't serious enough during dictations. I hope he will be better when he grows up.

I told my son to "triple" check his work with his finger point to the word and check. I guess this helps a bit but of course careless mistake is unavoidable .... we just need to accept.

Your advice is good. I will try to
follow your suggestions (on 11/8 and 13/8) to help my son in dictations. I find your ways of helping your son to revise dictations are creative. Thanks a lot!
