My son brought home a piece of paper with a picture of two leaves on it yesterday, he said Miss So told them that they need to fill up the leaves with yellow colour at home and bring it back to her on Monday. I asked him whether he can use other colour like green instead of yellow? He said : "No, Miss So said must be yellow."

小兒都有說一塊要油上黃色, 一塊綠色! 不過我問他是否要交回給老師, 他卻說不用!

如果我是你, 我會照他說2 塊都油上黃色, 當他返到學校,一來不要令到他以為你不相信他講的說話, 二來他見到自己和其他小朋友都不同, 那麼他下次就會記著老師說的話!
(因小兒上次沒有告訴我要執樹葉回校, 見到你們的post, 回家問他好幾次, 他都說不用, 於是第2 天放學後我問他, 他說xxx(同學名)有, 自己無!) 之後我每晚問他miss lau 有沒有說話叫你告訴媽咪呀? 他就會很努力的想一些出來!

這是我的小小經驗, 希望你不要介意啊!

Thanks for your help! Hopefully, both of them got it right. I guess different teacher has different idea. For our class, Miss So like the leaves colour in  yellow only.

thanks for the parents' +students' opinion n hint about the "leaves" homework, my daughter couldnt tell anything concret about it - sigh.

Reminder - 29th B/party, they will leave school one hr earlier on that day. But do we need to prepare any food for sharing among kiddies?

some parents said there is milk coupon or so inserted in handbook, what is that? no such thing in my daughter's handbook.

My son told me that the leaves should be coloured in yellow, but my husband said green and red is beautiful.  My son did not insist to coloured in yellow, therefore he coloured them in green and red. (followed my husband's instruction)  Is it good or bad?

May be next time we should listen to them and ask them more about the homework.
