I just asked Ms Chan about this. She said she taught them " D for a doll " only and she didn't ask them to bring a doll to school... just some of them wanted to show their dolls to the teacher...

Haha...that's why Calix said Ms. Chan didn't use the doll I put in his schoolbag...

Calix said Ms. Chan had used a toy baby for teaching...he imitated the baby sucking the pacifier and he told me that's 奶咀...he should not know the term of 奶咀 coz he has never used it during his baby time...

I'll see Ms. Chan tmw morning with Calix's daddy...we're very excited coz this is the first time we go to the school since the orientation!

Today when I picked up Calix from school bus, I saw two K3 girls (same stop as Calix) holding a plastic bag with 3 story books inside.  They told me that they need to read them with their parents and return to the teachers on next Thur.  One of them also showed me that there'll be a blue heart stamp on the due date of the handbook (just like a blue flower stamp notifying us there's school notice).
Seems that they like reading very much.  I asked them how do the teachers know they've read the books or not.  One of them said, "our teachers will ask us whether we've finished reading the books or not on the due date"..."our teachers have camera in our home and they know what we're doing"..."also we can't tell lies or our teeth will drop"...

I remember there's a notice inside the folder received on the orientation day that K1 students will also have 親子閱讀計劃 later.  I look forward to this very much coz Calix likes reading very much...

Hi Calix mum.
富淳's doll is a pink one but it's not My Melody.
She also said Charles cried .  I asked her why and she told me that Charles was sick.  
My husband and I will bring 富淳 to the Parents' Day tomorrow at 10am , see if I meet you.

My girl had this reading scheme in her nursery(n1).  I wonder why Kentville does not have this scheme in K1.

thanx for all the suggestions about the party venue.. actually i want to organize one for cassidy and invite her classmates to come... um.. disney is really a good choose.. but i think it's quite far for other classmates to come..

happyjolly, any other information about little gym in tst? need to bring food or not? will the staff hold games for them or not?>

cassidy today is so happy coz she brought a cinderella doll back school
she seems know most of the classmates now.. and mention many of their names.. she always mention lo yee fun and chong fu suen all the times

when i ask her.. who is your best friend... she told me is ngan wing yan.. haha

yesterday she suddenly told me ms chan asked her not to use milk bottle to drink milk.. she should use cup.. coz she's not a baby anymore

btw calix mom, cassidy is born Jan.. she's a big girl.. she's going to be 4 years old in Jan, and i'm thinking the venue which will be good for classmates to come.. thinking of festival walk dan ryans .. but of course she will be very happy if she can go to disney have birthday party.. still thinking

Hi Cassidy Mom,

Calix goes to Little Gym every mon afternoon.  I'd asked the instructor b4 about the cost of holding a birthday party.  It's $2,500 for 1.5 hrs...need to arrange catering by yourselves...the gym area will be open for the guests and the instructors will be there...

Should you want to know more info, just tell me and I can check it out for you.

I really want to know more about Lo Yee Fun coz Calix loves to play with her too.  Ms. Chan told me b4 that Calix always chats with Lo Yee Fun who is as small size as Calix...and they speak very softly and therefore Ms. Chan doesn't know what they're talking about...

Sure!  I'd love to join should there be any gathering.

Btw, I'm planning to drop Calix to school on 31 Oct (birthday party).  Maybe we can have breakfast together if you'll send your kids to school on that day too.

How about the leaf?  Joyce told me the kids need to prepare a little box and put the leaves inside the box.  Don't know it's true or not. Today morning when she took a doll (Barbie) getting on the schoolbus, the teacher in the schoolbus didn't let her bring a doll to school, so finally she didn't bring it to school then.

Good ideas, I can join the breakfast gathering......how about other moms?

Food is not included.  They will organize a kind of playgroup to kids i.e  games and songs,  the rest of the time is free play in the gym

oh.. it's too late to know cassidy need to bring leaves back school tomorrow.. i didnt prepare for her... and she didnt tell me about that

Cassidy Mom, I saw Cassidy's photo on the birthday calender in the classroom.  I recognized her as I remember her face in your BK's profile pic...she's sweet & pretty and therefore should look good in princess costume!

This morning I saw a boy brought a kite to the classroom. I asked Ms Chan and she said no need to bring la... I think maybe the topics of this week is "Autumn", right? Chloe just brought some leaves to school...
Today is Chloe's birthday, I told Ms Chan and then she said to Chloe that will sing her a birthday song later, haha...
