BBQ is good but as ljsze said is too time consuming and the kids have no patience. What shall we bring?

Thanks.  It seems that LH parents prefer DSS or private schools on KLN side.

Bcos, DSS can select good quality of students.The conduct of them are not to bad.We think we don't my kids learn worse behaviour from the bad classmates.Also, the progress of learning does not be delayed by them. Most important is that no confident  win in the lunky draw.

Agree.  Most of the LH parents are preparing to send their kids to DSS / private schools.  It seems that many of you have tried CKY, DBSPD, KTS.  My friend has a son studying at LS and she said CKY is very good too.

Do the boy & his parents find it tough studying at LS ?  If I live in HK Island, I will opt for school at HK side rather than Kln side.  Btw, Ramondi is a good choice also.

Yes, very tough.  He studied in KV.  My friend has hired a private NET for him since KG.  She has to spend around HKD 7,000 per month at that time.  From P1-P3 was easy for him.  But now, other pupils are getting better and better and his rating is dropping.

It seems that there are a lot of choices of English primary schools on HK island.  I have never heard of Ramondi until I found it from BK.  But the reputation of its secondary school is not that good.

It depends on what your friend want from the school.  I have a lot of work peers sent their kids to KV.  (It seems very easy to get in).  A lot of homework, 2 pages of Chinese writing + 2 pages of English writing.   When they are in P1-3, they usually are rated on the top10.

St. Cat.  Not easy to get in.  Depends on the parent's background.  One of my friend has a DGS old girl and her kids are accepted by St. Cat but not KV.

Dear moms,
The picnic was fun and the place was great for kids to see lots of animals and fed them. Preston was a bit depressed when we left and asked if we could go there again. Only one comment is that there were too many people that day (I think at least 3 schools).

Did you see Preston today? He has been limping for 2 days without any injury. I have no idea when he limps and he doesn' t complain of pain. A bit worried and observe for a couple more days if he improves.

If Preston reallys likes that place, you can go again anytime.  Give them a call before you go.

We were late today & couldn't see Preston.  Hope he'd recover soon.

Preston is better today, I think maybe is 'growth pain' which happens in kids, esp boys at this age.
