May I know if you (or any classmates) have any F1 textbook available to sell to me???  Today afternoon, I've bought some textbooks from the "book trade fair" held by student union in school.  

Rightnow, I still look for (item# listed as in the list of textbook from school):

6-7)  Mathematics 1A & 1B
16-17-18) History
21)  EPA
23)  Home Economics
25-26-27)  Arts
32)  Chinese History

My son is from Hoi Ping Primary school, so feel very warm and happy to Hoi Ping Secondary school.  I met a lot of friends at there, mostly they also from Hoi Ping Primary School.

Hoi Ping Secondary School is a small English world - I have to speed up my son's English standard - a bit worry!

Hopefully, he can enjoy to study there!

開平中是一間很不錯，很多活動的學校，英文更不須要擔心，因大家水準差不多，很快會適應。

好開心終於抽籤入了旅港，因自行時沒有得面試，現在有點擔心仔仔會否跟不上，因他屬於Band 1尾，請問你們的小朋友小學時成績是否Band 1頭，現在需唔需要補習?另外，10.7已註冊，但中一英文銜接課程在17-21.8舉行，因仔仔17-18有事不能上課，請問如缺席2天中一英文銜接課程會否難銜接中一課程?中一英文銜接課程是一個怎樣形式的課程?

Welcome to Hoi Ping!
I think all F.1 students don't have a big difference
in their ability. You may ask your son to read
more english books and as well as the text books
during the summer holidays.
F.1 syllabus is not that difficult,if student study
hard and pay attention in the lessons,they can  
get good result.
You may see your son's first term result first,before considering to attend any tutorial courses.
If your son can't attend the english bridging course
for 2 days, it's ok.
It will not affect much,but he will just miss 2 days
to meet some new friends.
The course includes watching movie,learning
english and so on.

He is very pleased with the school. He found the 哥哥姐姐 there are very nice and friendly.

真開心多幾位新朋友！
英文bridging course只有兩天，只是讓孩子體會吓英語上課時會怎樣，lk362已介紹，唔去無損失，不知你的新同學是誰而已。
我女兒是band 1 中，今次考試的成績未能讓她升上精英班，從分數及其他同學的表現，我覺得開平學生質素好平均，除了一小部份成績突出外，大部份主流學生都是差不多，平均分差十分名次已差好遠，競爭都很大。band 1尾要有心理準備名次可能不會高。至於補習，待第一次測驗後看成績決定。肯定一句，唔好放鬆，我女兒已吃了一記悶棍了。

女兒收到成績表，發覺評語一欄空白，是否最尾一次是無評語呢？因中期試有。
另外她未知編去那一班，是否會在校網公佈，或要到學校睇呢？又大約何時呢？

女兒今次考試脫腳，所以有很多補習。
今年暑假本來報一些球類運動，但抽不到，只去了幾天生活營。
中學生點樣安排暑期活動呢？是你女兒自己找或你安排呢？中學生有自己一套。

佢都係去下補習,出下街...
依家d中學生都係自己安排,
多數放親假就遲起身,
時間好快就過!

JA93，我個個可能仲差，好大機會Band 2頭(我估佢係自行入，佢in完話in得好好，實收)，仲要呢兩日鬼咁m開心，唔肯溫書，我要返工，好忙，冇時間看住佢，預左佢要墊底，但佢好聰明，就係唔讀書，激死我，請教各位旅港熱心家長，要點m對付呢種小朋友。

另外，請問旅港學生之中，男女生比例如何？係唔係大部分要補習？唔肯補習如何對付佢？請各位多多指教。
