Personally I don't think it will make a lot of difference; selection process depends on kid performance during interview.

My understanding of the rule of the game is that there are two MAIN groups: A & B.

Group A takes at most 70% of the places, i.e. 105
Group B takes at least 30% of the places, i.e. 45

As regards how "different" it is to have the same religion, I think it is not that remarkable.  However, if two kids are soooooo close in performance, then the one with the same religion should have priority over the one without. This is only my own interpretation, not an official answer from SPCCPS.

唔係呀，往年係120人，今年加多一班 30人，一共收150人呀。會有200人可以2nd int.

it's really hard to spend the coming weekend. I have thought why the school need to take several days to give out call. MAYBE they will arrange the 2nd letter in batches, calling after a batch is finished. I remember I received the 1st letter on around 5th and it is talking about 25 days after the submission. so they might need some more  time ( at least a week to sort out the 2nd interview list).

1 .some parents advised us that they had already received telephone confirmation and then with letter confirmation in respect of their second interview arrangement, regardless their application reference no. catergory.

2. some parents also advised us that they had confirmed with the school over the phone and  were advised that the school had not yet informed the selected applicants for second interview.

3. some parents even advised us that their freinds, regardless their application reference no. category, had already received the rejection letter for admission after attending their first interview.

after all, up to the present moment, what the applicants' parents should believe the above different voched (?) information.

4. our suggestion is that one  parent should phone the vice-principal asking for precise information, and tell the above different information to her for their school consideration.

5. any parent would like to take up this burden?

I think we should issue the news received by ourselves rather than those heard say by our friends or our friend's friend, right??
But anyway, all of our kids have already attended the interview and now, we can just wait for the news! Relax.....................
