how do you find the cambridge beginners books? I heard it's quit good. If it interesting?

i bought cambridge beginners book (16 books) for sofia during the commerce press sales. she requested me to read all 16 books to her in one go. then the following week i can only read a few books to her at a time, till my mouth dried off!

we're reading mostly english books, occasionally i'll read her chinese stories. there're still many books that need to be read at home coz i likes to buy books, yes, including books for myself (mostly child development books!).

It seems that the kid does not like PC and the teacher(s).  Thus, his/her parent helps him/her to change to another kindergarten.

since sofia wl finish her saturday activities at 2:30pm, we might reach pc at abt 3pm also. i think 1 hr should b enough to walk around. and hope tht there won't b too many people.

btw, did u receive the coupon for milk powder? hope the mail reached you b4 the expiry date.

hi chicken wing,
the set of cambridge storybooks has clear handpainted pictures tht r closely related to the words. sofia wl sit down & flip through the books while i take my shower. there're not many words, so if you want to do a quick reading it's a good choice!

but be prepared to read all 18 books in one go!  

i'll consider buying other sets next year. check the following link for the titles of the books: http://www.cambridge.org/elt/storybooks/titles.htm

i bought the red series (beginners), but the cassette was out of stock so i didn't buy. i'll check if they have cd in stock. i got a namecard of the salesrep of cambridge press, wl call them up later to find out if they give discount for purchasing in bulk.

sofia also brought back her picture. although she drew 3 figures (mummy, big brother & small brother) only with a red crayon, ms wong gave her "very creative" stamp.
