sofia also brought a candy home yesterday, she told me sze lam gave it to her. and she has to thank sze lam for the candy.

i also am wondering on what occasion will kids distribute candies to classmates.

yes, it's keroro coloring book. sofia got it last mth too. and i'm targeting to finish the 100th book before today!

hi all,

i also enrolled for sofia at tsimshatsui tom lee last summer, but too bad they called me back last mth saying they have 4pm session for her, but since she's studying at pm class hence couldn't make it.

however, i started to send sofia to music therapy centre at sheung wan since early october. it's a one-to-one basis piano & music class. she enjoys the 30mins every week!

Just some sharing. My girl is studying the Little Mozart in Parson for about 6 months and she love the class and I think she also learn a lot from there. However, it quite depends on the class. Originally the class have 4 kids, then 2 dropped out after the first term. Now only two kids, but the other one did not pay attention in class at all. Now is almost teach at one to one base, but my girl loss some interest as even for game, only my girl itself is playing and no competition to get sticker or stamp from teacher by answering question or do thing right.

If possible, it will be best if you can gather 3 to 4 kids together for class.

actually i'm the one who's doing the reading most of the time! she only likes to listen. when i ask her to read she'll say: "i don't know how to read". true also.  

i bought ladybird reading cassette + book for her to follow reading. she didn't know what to do at the beginning but now she can follow quite well, provided tht she's in a good mood!

can yr son recognise all the chinese characters? tht's very good! sofia only know a few more characters than what she's learned from school.

i bought cambridge beginners book (16 books) for sofia during the commerce press sales. she requested me to read all 16 books to her in one go. then the following week i can only read a few books to her at a time, till my mouth dried off!

we're reading mostly english books, occasionally i'll read her chinese stories. there're still many books that need to be read at home coz i likes to buy books, yes, including books for myself (mostly child development books!).
