For girl, I personally think only DGS is comparable to SPCC.

So, if money is a issue, try DGS (if too late this year, than wait until form 2), on the assumption that those can be admitted by SPCC must be able to get a place in DGS.

Thanks all for your advice. I am now trying to convince my girl that SPCC is a very good school as she seems to like CCSC more. Anyway, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all those who have provided valuable information on CCSC in this forum. It really helped me a lot in choosing my first choice. I also wish all CCSC applicants good luck, 馬到功成!!!

My son is on the waiting list of SPCC (still have a slim chance after 20th March. Luima, go for SPCC! )and QC rejected his application, no chance for interview.  It's a surprise for us.  

Still waiting for DBS, if the result is also negative, CCSC is the last chance.  After QC, anything can happen!!!!

Last time when we analyzed your case here, I found that your son should be ranked among the top ones in terms of academic results and ECA achievements. I couldn't figure out why QC rejected your son's application.

He is among top 200 in rank order list, but they put in some students good in sports and music.  Therfore he is marginally out of the list.  Civil Servants like to do things simple use the ruler to cut the line and not thoroughly analysed his porfolio of achievements.

Even he is on the list, the chance still slim this year.  My son's Principal also surprised by his case.

Don't give up so soon! He still has two good chances in Part A and B of the Central Allocation.

e+將近三月尾，中一自行分配評分應該係尾聲la，如果未交齊D副本就要快D，學校計好分就分分鐘會交上教統局，之後先至交就冇用啊！

以我所知應該係唔會。根據教統局指示，現時所有由今年入讀ge中一學生都可讀至中六。學校每年都通告所有學生同家長ge升級條件，只要同學努力讀書，升級過關便OK！當然有D同學中途會去外國讀書又當別論。

我第一個朋友說她揀 DSS, 因為不用擔心考完中三那個試 (我也不知是什麼名堂的試) 後升不回原校. 而我也在一些 DSS 網頁見到學校也標榜學生可由中一讀到中六, 所以我覺得這個朋友好像說得有道理.

於是, 我問第二個幫女兒選擇津校的朋友, 她也告訴我要向心儀的津校問清楚是否能直升, 個別的學校或者會有不同的做法.

不過我在 internet 搜尋不到相關的資料, 所以才想起在此問問你, 不知你有沒有向學校垂詢過.

DDS學校雖然不用考中三評核試, 但這些學校一般是新校, 為要收夠學生, 收生要求不會太高, 不過再升班上去, 成績追不上, 也會中途被淘汰, 不是留班, 便是出校, 到中四又會在外收些質素較好的中中學生, 為求做好會考成績, 所以考這些學校時, 不要只想追求英中學校, 而沒考慮自己小朋友的英文程度, 要量力而為.

你第一個朋友所講係中三ge初中成績評核辦法，現時全港英中都唔使做，因為英中要自己收番曬自己全部學生上中四，反為中中規定要做，因為可以將成績差ge叮走去第二間中中。但2008-2009年開始已取消呢個制度，所以不用擔心。

你第二個朋友憂慮係多餘的，因為係新高中學制下，全部學生可以原校直上中六，你唯一擔心係小朋友有冇呢個能力讀得好，到時能否入到大學！

只要小朋友循規度矩，勤力讀書，哪有不成功之理！

有朋友話現時香港係9年強制性免費教育,但到中四就唔係強制性一定要讀,亦唔係你有錢交學費就一定要比你讀,學校亦有權唔收你,唔知真唔真?

免費教育只去到中三，中四及以上要交學費，教統局會逐年加，最終達至收回成本ge 18%。冇錢可向政府申請綜援來交學費。

聽聞今個禮拜小學會派大抽獎表格，相信學校已將自行分配錄取名單同後補名單交左到教統局。過幾日等大家都有大抽獎表格時再同大家分享下個時我所用過D策略。

This year the DP stage is changed so much and most parents are aimed for ambitious targets, of course, the results are surprised.  In the CA stage, most parents will become more conservative, like myself.
