Without giving any explanation on the meaning of marking with ticks, she came out again and only said that the parents worn jeans and t-shirt would fail and the child with mother's support would be admitted to school.  Do you still think that person is giving us useful information?  Be smart, don't let people fool you around.

Hi Nick,

First, I think every mami has her own judgement of what to believe which particular statement from whom or not.  Also, each mami may have different parameters in this regard.  Again, it is not possible to make any absolute judgement to Jovis' statement if she is telling the truth or lies.  Simply because there is not sufficient information available: who is that insider; who is the teacher Jovis knows who conduct the interview; what exact the wordings in the conversation; whether or not Jovis mis-interrupt the conversation; many many more questions.   In fact, it would forever be a mystery for no one would be able to verify what Jovis said is true or false.

Given all these unknowns, I therefore suggest mami to decide by herself to agree or disagree, believe it or not.  But all in all, it is no need to be harsh on any one if you choose to disagree or not to believe.   Also, do not understate the competencies of BK participants and assume that everyone reading this forum would be fooled by someone.

Finally, I want to say, I don't know Jovis personally, nor I agree with some of her statements.  But I just think that it is not necessary to make such a strong statement here.

Hi all, 請大家都冷靜下來.這討論題目原意是找一些"同伴"去大家分享及做大家集中聯繫站. 可能係大家都已面試.而現又各人都懷等信之心急狀況.所以逄係有關乎結果的討論,大家都好有興趣去研究對否.其實冇問題的. 有討論才有結果ma.不過,如感到發言者之內容不認同,那我覺得便不回應他/她便罷了. 正如現在我說的不認同者基本不用回應我.相反,大家去研究內容對錯更沒意思,無謂傷感情.
講番學校,我想學校應該已定名單在手,所以應已成定局. 請大家再心平o的去接受快到的結果更好啦! :  :

Hi DidiLi,

I have never underestimated (understate, in Oxford dictionary, means state or express sth in a very controlled way) the competencies of all BK participants and believe most of the participants are well educated including you.

However, it is obvious that some of the participants hereof take advantages of other participants' concern over their children by publishing some statements herein which may be unsupported by evidence so as to agitate others.

I had been browsing around topics and noted that Jovis always caused agitation to others by making some ex post facto statements or giving some hindsights, particularly on the DSS topics.

Being one of the bystanders for about a year, I have the options to air it out or to keep silent.  This time I chose to air it out because I was discontent with someone's conducts.  Being a conscientious person, I have to speak out against the unwanted statements.

Last but not the least, I know none of the BK participants personally.  I speak it out as a bystander only (in contradiction of the Chinese proverb "Don't speak if you were not involved").

Good observation.....I do observe the same phenomenon : Jovis is seting fire in many topics.
That's why I'm not taking the points too serious.

Anyway, it is free for everybody to voice it out here.

I did call the school around 11:30 but the staff replied me not yet sent out today....How come other parents called(perhaps an hour later), they changed to "send out this afternoon ?  Hope this time no mis-interpretation la ! since 2 parents , mkwok and MacusMiMi confirm the message.

Good discussion.  First, thank you for correcting the word "understate" for me, I do mean to use "underestimate".  Probably, my hands do not type as quickly as my brain thinks.  


As I do not mind Jovis' comments, I also welcome yours.  More so, you start to participate with good motive - great!

剛剛4:45又打了電話去播道, 佢地仍然未寄出d信, 但說30/9前我地會收到信!! 所以佢地最遲係明天寄出, 如果唔係就冇信用啦~~

This morning arround 11:00 call EC office, the staff (girl) said will sent out on this afternoon. But now the other parent check on 16:45, they said not send out today. So make me confuse now.

As mentioned, I spoke out coz I felt discontent.  I have not had any intention to participate any discussion at all.
