Dear Worldpeace,

I called the publishing agent (Era) once, they said they have no retail outlets and they are the sole distributor in HK.  You may try to call them @2330 2533 to see if you can go to their office (in Shatin) to buy the books.

請問P1全年測驗會有名次嗎? 此外，是否只計中英數及常識分?

測驗是沒有名次的.  Test Week 只考中、英、數、常識、Science, Reading 及普通話.  其他科目在Test Week前的課堂進行.

每科, 甚至中、英書法都有成績列站成績表.  沒有總平均分, 但中、英文為主科, 所以有一個總分出現.  該總分的計算ratio 就不太清楚.

e.g : English Language has Gen English, Reading, Dictation, Composition, handwriting.  All these will have their own marks.  Then, there will be a mark for English Language.  I have no idea about the proportion of these individual subjects.  But Gen English should have a higher proportion than the others.  The same for Chinese Language.

For the other subjects, there is no breakdown of marks.

No idea about this.  However, I heard that in P.5/6, all marks, even music & visual art, will be submitted to EMB.  I think what you mentioned should be right as you can see that in the test week, only 7 subjects will be tested.  These subjects should be more important than the others.  When girls go to senior grades, may be there are more subjects added into the test week schedule.

今天尊登在校門等囡囡，結果原來她在窩打老道落車，搞到要行上操場見她，感覺有少許混亂，加上今天非常熱，不過看到女兒與同學仔在草地上影相，十分開心！

We arrived the cover playground at 7:35 so I don't think it's hot.  If you arrive there earlier, I do believe that it's very hot there.

My girl said they will sit according to their height on next Monday.
