We go every Saturday.  Yes, the instructor gave me one toy to bring home everytime.  However, it seems that Brian doesn't like to play with the toy much.  Anyway, will continue to try.

open day 果日我係pnb 課室有個介紹letterland既活動, 我覺得好得意，所以買佐隻CD 比我囝囝聽，佢竟然識由Annie Apple (=Letter A) 唱到 Sammy Snake(=Letter S)，如睇書佢可以話哂每一個人物個名，但佢只係返佐3個幾月，我相信佢返學返得開心才會咁吸收。

呢排佢成日唱 “安安靜靜來著鞋，孔老師，xx嗎?? 請問你地小朋友有無唱呢首歌，知唔知xx係咩黎??

my son is now in PNA & will go to CE am class.

limma, my son also sings a lot of songs learnt from school, but mostly English.  for sure, kids learn a lot.  we like the school.

btw, what's the name of the cd you brought ?  where did u purchase ?

Nice to meet you. My son is in PNB and he knows all the letterland characters too. About the song, it's when Miss Hung starts to tell them a story, they will say that (actually is not a song) b4 Miss Hung starts. My son always says that at home too.
What class is your son in, PNB or PNC?

太古城is a bit too far away for me.  i have to try some other shops.  and, i surfed the web & found out someone in ETC could send the catalog to anyone who wants.  the details are in the newsgroup of 教育小組 > letterland.

for sure a lot of people will go to china.  so, i won't go.  however, it's also difficult to plan for activities if we stay in hk during easter.

Preston starts to take school bus since yesterday. However, he wants my maid to go with him. Maybe he needs a few days to go by himself.

Preston is still so shy. It's not common that he said hi to you! What's your kid's name? I went to be story mother a few weeks ago and all the kids were very good and discipline in class. So glad they learn a lot in school.

Nice to meet you.  My son is Brian and he is also in PNB.  I heard from my son of the name 'Ho Lim' and I think Brian and Ho Lim will play together sometimes in school.

I've bought the Letterland CD and some small posters of the Letterland characters a few weeks ago.  It's surprising that Brian knows most of the characters and he likes the songs so much.  I know from ETC that the Letterland products are also available in some other shops.  You may call ETC again for the locations.

I heard from my Mom that more kids take school bus recently.  For sure, it's a good experience and they can learn how to communicate with each others in a special situation.  They may need some time to adapt.

wow, your husband has got 40 days of annual leave.  is he a civil servant ?  what a long holiday !  i think you have to plan for the holiday of your husband as well.

we just went for a short hiking in  新娘潭自然教育徑 yesterday.  we hiked for about half an hour.  we went up and down the hill.  i was surprised that my son walked all the way.  you know kids sometimes want to be held iso walking by himself.  we sweated a lot but it was a good experience.  do try it some time.

i just visited the showroom of letterland yesterday.  i didn't notice that the shop would open only every Wed & Sat but the lady still welcomed us.  she was nice & gave a lot of details to us.  and, she did not hard sell.  we finally purchased the cd & dvd.

has anyone been to tai po waterfront park ?  is it worthvisiting ?

Brian hasn't done the speech assessment in Heep Hong but he had it in the public health centre as he didn't start to speak at two.  The nurse there said it's normal that kids do not speak much or they cannot pronounce some words correctly before the age of four.

BTW, why do you plan to take Preston to the assessment?  Does he speak less or does he pronounce the words wrongly?

Some of my colleagues have been to Tai Po Waterfront Park with their kids.  According to them, it's a very good place to visit.  It's spacious and calm, so you can think of bringing a tricycle for your son.

i noticed that when new PN class started, some kids of PNA were switched to that class.  and, at the same time, some new classmates joined PNA.  is that the same case for PNB ?

It's strange that some PNA kids were switched to PND while some new kids joined PNA.  Does the school want to group kids of similar age into the same class?
