Yes, Calix only told me about Maths.  Yet I believe your daughter is right coz many moms from other threads also said that 2 subjects were done yesterday.  Calix seems feeling confused with ass ...

Calix told me more about the 常識 yesterday (multiple choice questions), e.g. 有咩動物會喺秋天儲糧；有咩係廚房嘅東西；邊一樣係動物園嘅動物etc..

Calix was very happy today as there's no homework & Ms. Lee asked them to take a good rest tonite, e.g. watching TV, playing in the park/clubhouse, cycling downstairs.  I let him watch DVD as he seldom watches TV/DVD during weekdays.

Calix said they watched TV at school today...the name of the program is funny, called 「可愛的BB蛋」 (don't know if it's true).  It teaches them to have good behaviour which sounds educative.  He said sometimes they watch "Little Bear" too.

They have a new seating plan today.  My son said the whole 星星組 has moved to 太陽組's location (but they still belong to 星星組); 太陽組 has moved to 月亮組's location; and 月亮組 has moved to 星星組's location.

Lau Ho Fai is sitting next to my son while Max is at the opposite.

I'll drop my son to school tmw.  Let me see how is it then.

I think they don't merely move from one table to another table coz I saw some kids from Sun Group have moved to the original location of Star Group.  I recognize that most of the kids sitting in my son's table are from the original group.

Yes, I let my son wear his own jacket these 2 days.

My son sang a new Chinese song today:
我們一同玩耍
哈哈哈
(repeat 4 times with gradually raised tone)

He also recited a Chinese song to me yesterday but I couldn't hear clearly what he sang.  It's about 小白免.  Have you heard this from your kids?

They'd learnt 象 yesterday.  My son said don't called 象 as 大笨象 as elephant is not 笨 at all.  So cute!

My son said they didn't have Chinese dictation today but had done a Chinese paper about drawing & matching.

They'd finished teaching 可愛的動物. My son said Ms. Suen had read a new book with them which hasn't yet distributed.  He said it's about 野獸.

Long time no see la..

Yes, my son said Calix and Max are in the same group.  He is happy when he mentioned these 2 classmate.  Good to keep some classmate for a longer time in the same group. They can get to know each other more.

my son today ask me what is the use of the tiger/zebra 's  patterns on their skin ?  I said i don't know (i really don't know)    He said when animal  running,  the patterns moves and this makes the enemy can't see them clearly.    I think the teacher tell them.

Hi MaggieHuang,

Yes, my son told me some funny stories about wild animals recently.  He said some people will take off the ivory of the elephant for making money; polar bears' bodies are white in colour as snow & ice; giraffe put their heads down when drinking water and they'll kick the tigers/lions when being attacked etc..

They'd learnt 「猴」.

Opposite words like Good/Bad, Fat/Thin, Long/Short.

They sang a Mandarin song today:

我是男孩子，
我是女孩子，
我們都是好孩子。
(repeat 2 times, with tune of a nursery rhyme "道理真巧妙")

My son said they had English dictation today (captial & small letters).  And they had played the Chinese dictation game on the blackboard (Ms. Suen asked the kids to write different words on the blackboard).

they enjoy the lesson so much. So happy.
My son said later they will learn Chinese sentence in very near future.
