Will u plan to let your child study K1 at Keenmind, or look for other kingdergarten?

I will try St. Catherine, Kentville, Creative Kindergarten, Stafford, St. Johanne, St. Paul...  My husband think I am crazy.


What is your choice? Maybe I will let Janice stay at Keen mind if she like this kindergarten a lot. Do we have to apply for K1 if they will study N1 in sept?

Danielboy, The letter did not mention which class would Ian attend.  Will check with KM next sat.

Haha! I don't think you are crazy because we will do almost the same thing for the K1 applications.  Luckily, my husband is supporting me fully on this issue.  I have already submitted my applications for Stafford, Creative & ESF.  I will also apply for SC & Kentville in September and a few others to act as a "warm up" for interviews.  

KM is a quality kinder and in case Daniel fails all interviews, there is no harm for him to stay with KM for K1.  This is exactly one of the reasons why I selected KM in the first place.

From what you said, it seems children that have been allocated to a class are those that are old enough to start school in September.

Danielboy, yes!!  you are right.  By the way, you submitted the applications for Stafford & Creative & ESF?  Could you please PM the information to me?  As my plan will let Ian to go to the other school too.

do u know what's the difference between the 2 Creative Kindergarten in Kowloon Tong, one with primary school and the one without. I don't know which one is better, and I sent out the application form to both of them.  thanks!

Actually, I kept looking around and I believe I spotted cheungcheung's daughter.  But as I wasn't absolutely sure, I decided to wait until the talks were over.  As soon as it was over, my husband was busy talking to his 2 colleagues who are also sending their children to Keen Mind.  As for me, I met a few of Daniel's friends from his YMCA playgroup, and of course, I was busy talking to their mothers.  So who is going to school tomorrow?  jc_mom?

Actually I was sitting on the first row and I didn't bring janice there on Sat.

Both my husband and I will bring Janice to school at 11am tomorrow and go to work in the afternoon. There are 16 kids in Class B, most of them are boys.

Janice will take school bus starting on Sept 15, the driver said he will pick up one child at Sorrento, another one at the Waterfront, and then go to my place at 8:40am.

Hi jc_mom,

I was sitting in the third row and I also didn't bring Daniel along last Saturday.  I am taking Daniel to school this morning at 9:00am.  Daniel is in Class C and the number of boys and girls are fairly balanced. Daniel has a male friend in Class B and his name is Erskine.  Erskine is a very good and quiet boy (especially when compared to my little devil) and I am sure he will not bully Janice.  Anyway, don't worry about the boy/girl ratio.  It is not that significant at least in the nursery level.

今天是囝囝的第1天上學,去到學校我地首先去洗手,跟住係大堂玩下車車,然後入課室教小朋友換鞋放好,教小朋友認識自己放書包的地方.然後用廁紙筒做個小勞作,唱下中,英歌......洗手食茶點.咁就差唔1個鐘喇.

今日基本上同返playgroup差不多,Daniel都well behaved,話哂都返左成年playgroup,點都識扮下乖,過2日熟左就現形!下個禮拜無得陪肯定喊到驚天動地,C班Ms. Lai都好好心機, Ms. Wong雖然年紀較大,但都"tum"得D小朋友幾開心,佢教勞作同講故事,都吸引到小朋友,小朋友好留心坐定定, including 我老細Daniel.

Janice is also OK this morning and not cry.  Only one girl in the class cried for a while.  Other boys are quiet and shy.
But my little Janice asked to go toilet 3 times at school this morning, she is not like this at home.
