it seems it stated that for Type B - no relation, there are only 4x sits accept for this type of applicants.

According to my girl interview day, which is Oct 11 and her reference is B65X.
It tooks 8 more days to finish all the interview, presuming 10 ...

I think your assumption is not valid. I forgot my application no. but is surely "B" class and I have interviewed on 28th Sep. According to your calculation, "B" class shouldn't have started to be interviewed earlier than 3rd Oct

Thank you for sharing your interesting and insightful prediction.  

SPCCPS did schedule the 1st round interviews on Saturdays as we attended one on 20 October.  My princess application no. is B1xxx (sorry, I forgot).

Like your child, we are totally unrelated to the School and have no "bonus points" on reporting Christianity as religion.  I think your "gestimate" is quite close to the truth: around 500 "related" applicants (AR and A groups) and 1500 "unrelated" applicants (BR and B groups).

It is difficult to imagine how fierce the competition is for a BR/B applicant to "fight" for a chance to get into the 2nd interview - only one out of 25 will have this luck!

So, stay relaxed and calm.  Hold a firm belief that our child has done his/her best.

I am BXXX so i think we will receive calls later if we are lucky enough. And I have done some predication for sharing, based on my assumption only.

There were 2000 application this year as declared  ...

I didn't write it down and not sure which group am I belonging to. I just remember my kid attended the interview on 2.10.07 P.M.

I think the ref. no. was written in pencil on the envelope in which the 1st interview letter was sent to you...

We received the call after 4:00pm yesterday and we have just received the invitation letter for 2nd interview this afternoon.
Our 1st interview was held on 29Sept(SAT).

As I just checked,the ref. code was only appeared and  written at the right bottom of the envelope front side.

I sort it out by reading the thread of last year. The first call on 25/10/2006 and last call on 31/10/2006 (5 days exclude weekend). I have no ideas about what time they did the call. I also have no ideas why it took for several day to finish.

4X was according to the number of accepted applicants , that is 150. But there will be 200 applicated shortlisted for interview. Then taking the least number, 200* 30% = 60. Of course, they can choose only 4X for 2nd interview and then admit them all. But I think they won't, right? So the number should be at least 60, may be even more.

If like a mum here said group B start interview on 28 Sept, then this may mean they may or may not give out call on the sequence of Ref, they may follow the date the interview took place. I could not predict when the call will be sending out then. Like JYYHMama said, the chance for Group B is really slim, if 1500 applicants of Group B is assumed, then the chance for 2nd int  is only 4% (60/1500)!!!!

Does that mean for those who have a chance of getting 'second interview' will be followed up with phone call besides receiving the letter from school??

If we do not receive phone call by end of next week, i.e, we should be receiving the 'reject letter' by end of November??
