Re: Letter Land
Laputa,
In my opinion, I don't think so...
For phonic kids, my feeling is: simple and straightfwd ... easy for small baby or toddler to understand...
However, not so attractive or changes in animations... so not easy to attract elder kids, they may feel boring...
that's why I start with phonic kids.
Letterland has its own advantages... and it is a series of English learning programme... in my mind, not too late if I start it when Joshua becomes 18 months old... (I think I've finished phonic kids laaa gua?!)
Phonic kids consists of 3 books (3 VCDs + 3 CDs)... first one is for alphabets, second one is consonants and the third one is vowels... not difficult at all... although the book is not easy for small babies... but watching the VCDs are okay for them... so when they become elder abit, can start witht he books also... (so for now, I just play the VCD every night for few alphabets, usually 5 and stop before he loses the conc....)
That;s my opinion only...
