I think very unlikely as second round is already final round, to shortlist 1,000 girls for 140 seats sounds unnecessarily burdensome for the school staff
The school does not interview parents. However, Mrs. Dai will personally come out of her room to bring the two girls in for their interviews with her, and then bring them back out after the interview. So Mrs. Dai will see who came with the girls. Because of this, almost all girls are accompanied by both parents, and the parents are usually dressed quite nicely hoping to give a good first impression to Mrs. Dai.
counted from this thread, the no. of days of 2nd int this year is 8 days, same as last year. with 70-72 kids/day (figure from ek post last year) the no. of kids with 2nd int will be around 560, same as last year. Btw 大家平常心la, 在各位靚媽愛心和悉心栽培下, 無論讀哪一間学校, 孩子都會成材的!

Definitely not a must since they are not interviewing the parents, but of course most people will think that being accompanied by parents will have an advantage as Mrs. Dai herself will see who brought the girl to the interview. When I was there with my girl for her second round, there were maybe 6 to 7 girls in the waiting room, and all of them had both parents with them. I would suggest at least one parent should go if both can't make it together.
She does not have to ask, because while the girls are in Mrs. Dai's office being interviewed, the parents or whoever took those two girls there will be sitting and waiting right outside Mrs. Dai's office. And when Mrs. Dai escorts the girls out of her office, she will hand the two girls back to their guardians waiting right outside of her office.
