my son had his interview this morning for k1 next yr. his interview went ok and answered most of the questions and did sing abit of a song in the end.  but my son was abit nervous and when we said goodbye to the teachers, he was really happy he can go so he almost walked to the door without me and didn't push his chair back...    and i pushed it back for him.... from your experiences, do u think that was a big "NO-NO"???  after thinking about, i should have called him back to pushed the chair, but at that moment i didn't want to make a big fuss so....  :-|  but he did say thank u for the candy!

i m abit worry even though i know it is out of our hands now!

and can u tell me abit what kinda of students they look for, and what they look for in such a short interview....???

This is the reading program stamp. The school should give you two story books on Fri. Within this week, you should read with your child. By Friday, you should bring back these two books to school and I think they will change another book with you. I think teachers will read the books with kids during lessons as well. This is what I know. Please tell me if I'm not correct or anything that I've missed out. ^.^

Have you read the other topic about Interview at Kentville this year? So many complaints from parents. KV is always criticized by parents each year.

Yes, I have read their conversations also. But I think it's very serious this year. But to be honest, I didn't see there is a problem in the interview process. Each child have around 10 mins interview, I think it's fair enough. It's difficult to ask a 2 years old kid to stay longer with you especially the interviewers are all strangers to them. To me, having an appointment at 1:15 and have the interview on time, it's perfect. Didn't ask parents to wait outside for long. Really don't know why they have complains about this ......

Totally agree with you.  By the way, the interview arrangement process for my son was very good last year.  I have just arrived 10 mins before the interview and let my son played in the playground.  The interview process was very smooth and the two interview teachers were very nice.  No need to waith for a long time!
