哦! 原來04年係出生率最少喎, 但06年就好多, 所以今年我地應該叫做容易考d, 到parco細佬嗰年仲難考呀. 咁講如果係入直資或私校, 有哥哥喺度都唔一定入到, 到時太多選擇, 分分鐘幫唔到細佬添. 反而入到資助學校就淡定好多喎.

Yes, you can say that, but some DSS/private schools do have preference for the younger brother or sister. Like YW, the application form is different for those applicants that have brother in the school. Can't 100% guarantee but at least easier than a general applicant.
Or EC, the principal said as long as the second child is normal, he will accept him/her.

Thanks!!  I noticed they posted the shortlist (for those interviewed on Oct 10) on their website.  Awaiting their announcement for the 2nd batch later on.  Not much hope though as my girl was not in the mood with serious runny nose on the day.  Haha!!!

I am very surprised and happy today because Jeff got acceptance letter from EC. I expect EC will send out letter next week as this saturday still have interview. But they sent out the letter earlier than expected. This is my 2nd choice, so I am quite happy now.

You now have your 2nd choice on hand.  Hope you will receive updated news from your first choice very soon.  I believe your hard work will pay off.

It's also a good timing to receive the offer from EC so that you don't need to bother the registration with GT.

我好奇怪cky點解佢係網上只公佈第一個batch? 電話通知就話有先有後, 但出得notice, 冇理由分幾次公佈, 第二個batch既家長見到not on list未以為冇行好失望囉？
but anyway, 我同事有句話好應境: 起碼有糊叫！

今日學校開party, 係咁烽火時勢, 記唔記同囝囝囡囡打扮, 仲有係學校留影呀？今年係佢地last year at KV la.

Thanks. Jeff was also quite happy when he knew EC accepted him. I went registration this morning and talked to the EC parents, they are quite satisfied with the school. The only headache I has now is no school bus from my home to TKO!
