For the seminar, I just let my son handed in the enrollment form to the class teacher.    I did not hand in by person.  They still accepted it.

Yesterday i had a bad experience, my boy lost his English Grammar Book, this is not his first time, so i asked him to call his classmates, his classmate said should be left in his drawer. My boy told me that due to his careless & so left in his drawer.  Well, to me is not big deal & he said already finished the work in the class. Later i help him to review English due to Wed will have quiz.  (As i had mentioned before this is not the first time he had lost his Grammer Book & we already bought a new one before.)   i then opened it & asked him to tell me the answer of todays homework. He looked at me & said he didn't understand the content. The English teacher only asked them to write the answer on the Grammer Book & under very rush. Oh my god, sometimes i find A or A- in his homework & then i will assume he understand all.  Now i learn that i should always check his understanding. Also to all Mammys.

Nice to meet you here.   My son is also in 1L.  
Your son did not lose his English Grammar Book.  He finished the homework assignments during the class.  The teacher collected them.  The homework assignment of GB P12 was only for those students who forgot to bring the book to the school yesterday.   Your son's classmate did not know the situation and gave you wrong information.  
My son is also absence-minded.  I asked him where was his GB.  He often said he left it in the school.
For English assessment, it will be postponed to Thursday as the TB and GB were collected by the teacher and returned to students on Wednesday.  
I think our kids have short memories.   They understand what the teachers said during the class and forgot them after school.  Therefore, we need to spend some time to review the materials every day.  I normally spent around 30 minutes on it every day.

BTW do any Mammys know that when will change school winter uniform coz the weather becomes cooler now.

我有個問題想問吓大家的,因小兒在幼稚園時學校會將D講座/親子活動會在星期六下午/平日的晚上舉行, 但陸慶濤的活動是在星期六上午/平日的上午舉行, 所以我想知道是否大部份的小學的家長活動都係安排在平日或星期六的上午舉行呢?

I will do the following :

Chinese :  Make sure he knows how to write the words.  
Reading comprehension : Keep on reading the Chinese story books.

English  : Make sure he knows how to spell the words.  My son's word spelling is very poor.
Reading comprehension : Same as for the Chinese.

Mathematics :  Memorised and understand the meaning of the key words.
