BTW, I think the 10/3 is not a holiday, but I could be wrong.  

There will be notice from the school to inform the parents about the holiday.  The girls will write the notice on their handbooks.

Depends on your time schedule with the teacher on that day.  Could be only the AM or PM.  Since, there will be a book fair in the school that day, you can spend the time there for books hunting.

Really long time la!!  Where have you been?  My girl will be in 2B.  Hermione & Natalie will be in 2A.  I heard that they are good friends, your girl won't be lonely in 2A.  Samantha, Coey Chung & Jamie Ip will be in 2A, too.

Will you attend the meeting on next Monday?  If yes, see you there.

I will have lunch with Hermione's mum after the meeting.  I also invite Natalie's mum, don't know if she'll need to rush back to office, if not, she'll join us.  So, will you join us as well?

The school does not set any regulation for the school bag.  You can choose whatever you like.  Last year, most parents purchased the SPI school bags with MCS logo.

Hi, All,

I got the school handbook today and confirmed that Oct 3 is not a holiday.  You can find the list of Holidays on P. 7 of the handbook.

For P.1 parents, I don't know if the class teachers told you or not.  It will be better to split the cells in the handbook into 2 columns, otherwise, your girls may run of of line to write the notes every day.

Thanks for AmyWonglo's tips.

I'm a bit surprise to note that the handbook with "blank" lines only.   Some schools do have grids for different subjects and abbreviation for different tasks.    I wish students will not have difficulty in completing the notes in the handbook.  

Overall speaking, we have starting day with a good impression on the leadership of the school management and the teacher teams.  

May God bless every of our new Maryknollers and parents has a fruitful journey in the coming years.
