comparing with Chinese and western, western generally are more polite than Chinese, westerns tend to say " hi", " thanks " with strangers, but the chinese are so " cool " and feel strange when people say "hi " to them.

May I ask so which kinder your girl is studying?

Meowross,
I think each kindergarten has its pros and cons. To me, HKPS is less famous when compare to SC / KV. But it's good in the way that it has smaller no of classes. Most of the teachers will know your child and it creates a warmer environment. The teachers are nice and friendly. I also think that it's good to have both English and mandarin speaking class teachers so that they can learn languages more effectively. Phonics and violin teachings are also included in the syllabus. However, I think the administration is a bit chaotic sometimes, especially in the beginning of school. May be it's due to opening of more classes this year? It also seems that some of the new teachers are not so professional. Actually, I still don't know the school very well yet. My boy is still small and can't tell me what he is doing in school very clearly. But what I see is that he seems to enjoy school and likes singing a lot of songs at home. I am still thinking which school my boy will be suitable!

之前都有 post 過的事例分享一則：
我老公有個舊同事，他的女兒今年已是 KV 的 K3 學生，話說囡囡本來天真活潑，但自從讀了 KV 之後，因曾被老師當面罵過，之後變得「靜」了，父母當然心痛，還有點後悔選了 KV，所以前幾日，他也勸我老公說：KV 不太好...等等，仲有就是 apply 小學 all failed！我給這件真人真事，令到我憂心了好幾天。令我要諗是否要轉汰去 SC？

我自己看法！記得 N 年前，我讀幼稚園的時候，都有考試，老師都很「惡」！升讀小學之後，那小學的老師「更惡」，一個可能只是那日剛好她心情壞（我估），我曾被她失驚無神，問都無問地「一巴掌」摑我塊臉，原因只是我後面的同學聊我傾偈，我又應她....，小朋友而已，做老師的「唔駛咁呀」！咁，我會否因為發生了「惡」老師（或變態老師）而令我性格變成「沉鬱」？

或者都可能是年代唔同，現在的小孩子通常都很寶貝，生一兩個，點同以前兄弟姊妹八九個？老師惡？都唔惡得過屋企那兩件--亞爸亞媽。

其實父母都可以做個「中間人」的角色。例如我囡囡有次同我講，她很喜歡某姨姨，因為她從沒罵過她，但 Daddy 和媽媽有罵過她....！她有如此想法，當然要開導她，甚至要教育她正確的方向，要她明白「罵」不代表父母不愛惜她。

依家d細路話兩句都唔得,問題係家長定係學校?所以依家d細路受唔到壓力,少少野又話唔開心又話自殺,問題係家長定係學校?唔好成日賴學校,生得佢出要付責任.
我唔相信此女孩的父/母係全職湊佢,問題唔係一朝出現,做父母應該諗吓解決方法.

My son gets an offer already.  Is this school good enough?  I only know it's reputation is good, but really don't know the detail of it such as the school time, number of NET and promotion road to primary school, etc.  If any kindly parent has idea, please share.  So many thanks!

We are also living in TKO.  If there is a private school bus that don't need to "dou", I will let my son join.
