Congratulations.  As the birth rate is low, most parents can get their first choice.  I must push my boy to work harder to prepare for P.1 in 2006.  He has so many weak areas to improve.

Dear ALAL,
Really?  Your son is admitted by La Salle!   But I know that it is not your cup of tea.       Studying in famous schools may not imply success.  I eye-witness this all the time.  I used to think about Wah Yan Primary School but I give up this idea now as this school has too many children in a class.  My target is small-class size schools.  As my child's only problem is inattentiveness and has neither behavioural nor emotional problems, I hope that he can go to a better school.  How come that you don't turn up in the Saturday course?

我真係有稔中咗要捐錢去邊啲幫我地小朋友嘅機構，不過星期六未中，會繼續努力！

Yes.  This is my greatest anxiety.  But my target is not famous school.  My strategy is 人棄我取.

Dear stellacl,
About 90% of the schools in my area (an aging area in HK island, may be less competitive) are band one or moving up from band two to band one.  Just a few of them are 'less good' according to parents.  These 'inferior schools' are also doing very well so as to 'survive'.  I will also 跨區 if I fail in the first round ....  

However, this is not important.  The most important thing is to upgrade my child's ability...

Hear that govt will hold small class for school with many students taking public assistance. So 'Dong Duan tong xiang hui' may be on the list.  Congratulation Band Band.

But personally small class is not my first criteria. If the teachers are not good, small class will not help? Am I right?  Mrs cheung?

I just think if the mum in Friday class would like to communicate with the school for special requirement then it's better to do it together.  If she's not going to do so, I think it's not quite necessary for us to contact.  However, I am going to communicate with the school about my boy's situation, just hope he will have a better primary life.  If the mum in Friday class would like to contact me, she's most welcomed.  And thanks a lot for your co-ordination !
