I had chosen few activities for my girl too. But I heard the swimming class is not that good from anothrr St. Mary's mother.

Does anyone here take the 補習班? Is it necessary???

I think 補習班 is not necesary, at least in the first 2-3 years. I think monitor the progress and provide assistance to the kid is o.k. St. Mary's entrants this year (and onwards) don't need to fight hard for a place in the secondary college like the entrants before, but of course, they still need at least to meet the minimum requirements set by the school for promotion.

She is attending drawing and piano class as well during weekdays. From my observation in the past few days, my girl looks tired around 7pm. Since she refused to take a nap in the afternoon, I'm fear that she won't have extra energy to take care of her home work and preparing dictation if I arrange too many activities to her.

Agree to you, I won't arrange any tutorial for her. Let her try first.

Yup, my girl is very tired after 8:00pm. She was yarning frequently when reading books.

St. Mary's mother said her daughter had taken 3 sessions and still could not swim. Too many kids in a class.

我女通常7:00開始好累, 我會同佢沖個涼,因此9:00已準備訓, 通常9:30前都訓, 其實我認為不要午睡, 反而個人比較精神, 如果午睡了, 起身又眼腫腫, 晚上又唔願訓, 早上又冇精神.

想問下一班有幾人, 其實可能是小朋友細個比教難明白, 其實我個女單對單都學了年幾, 已懂3式, 想佢參加泳班, 是想看看是否有機會入泳隊, 不過我個女又不大鐘意游, 因此我想睇下佢跟學校的泳班是否興趣會大一點

Only taking more than a year to swim in 3 strokes? Your girl is great! My daughter has started to learn swimming since 3 but still show slow improvement, she's a bit timid.

My daughter use to stay up late at night in the summer holidays, now it's hard for me to push her to sleep earlier than 11pm, but I have set the rule that she must sleep before 10pm, at least from Sunday to Thursday, otherwise she will be very tired at school when the school starts at "whole day" after 1 week.

My daughter have not take regular nap in the afternoon since K3, though she may sometimes easily get irritated when she is sleepy in the afternoon. By the way, I tried to persuade my daughter to join swimming sessions held in our clubhouse this summer but she always say "no". She like to go to the beach and swimming pool but don't like to learn swimming at all. Hope she will change her mind when she grow older.

It's a matter of luck.  In the summer time only 4 students join the St Mary's swimming session.

The organization is quite good.  My daughter join the class during summer holiday only.  After 2 consective years, she can swim 200M free style and back stroke.

我個女都學左1年游水，對小朋友真係好好。我女小左傷風感冒，氣管都冇咁易敏感。不過有時覺得自己都幾恨心，上年有一日得8C都要游hahha。 雖然有暖水但都好凍。
前日我打左去泳天問，學校校隊同學校訓練班有咩分別。佢話校隊主要訓練速度，不會著重執手勢，一班有幾多人都收(1條lane最多可游20人)，只要任何式能游100米就可參加。我女P2但沒有機會參加校際賽，因最少要P3。所以我會俾個女在訓練班執多1年手勢先入校隊操速度，而訓練班1:6-8，會跟得好D。
