唔好意思, 我個人既選擇令到某D家長會擔心/覺得學校有問題。但呢D都只係我自己覺得, 希望唔好影響到其他人。如再有人想知, 我都唔會再PM架啦!

BTW, 唔係因為放棄大抽獎既回條。我玩得呢個遊戲, 就已經預左要放棄大抽獎。呢份回條係另一樣野, 我個人唔係幾接受到而已。

其實真係唔関資質事，因為我收到offer後問過學校收學生的要求，只要達到佢哋嘅基本要求，即係符合1st in和2nd in所考嘅嘢，有一定嘅解難能力，有看書的興趣和習慣及了解書本內容，有礼貌等。

我係交留位費時當場睇, 睇過下就簽左佢. 我連copy 都無. 我只係知道依份野係先小人, 都係正常o既手法.
其實最終係唔係依一間都係未知數. so, 交左留位簽左唔係=一世係度讀.
結婚簽紙都包一生一世啦

其實smc係我報考之前，最後才收集資料的，不過阿仔話喜歡這學校，始終讀書係靠佢自己喺課堂上的吸收，如果老師教得好而佢都吸收唔到，只好轉校，何況佢考咗咁多間都係話最鍾意smc，咁啱smc又肯收佢，咪順其自然囉。

今年我小朋友響smc讀p.1, 亦都有簽呢份文件, 其他小學未必有相同情況, 因為smc1級只收80人, 家校合作一定要有家長積極參與至成事, 所以佢會要求家長承諾參與活動, 參與活動方式唔一定要捐款, 保良局, 東華三院都有籌款活動la.  170人一級,如果最少40人先攪得成活動,  可能只要25%參與就ok, 不過smc 就要一半家長支持至成事.
之前有位家長講"先小人,後君子", 我就好同意.  其實學校出發點都係想make sure we are on the same page. 好似入smc就知要讀religion study,要做mass, 學校將佢嘅expectation講清楚, 咪唔會有mismatch law. 歸根究底,學校唔會無端端貪得意整份野, 相信係過往經驗令佢哋覺得要有一份"charter"俾家長簽. 份文件又唔係legal-binding,我覺得係學校想攞番過安心多d.

Hi laputa and other SMC moms,

How much time is required for the parents to help out in these activities?  How about the religious mass?  Is it every week?  We are not Catholics.  

My daughter just had a second interview this past Wed.  I think it well quite well and I hope to get an offer soon.  But some of the comments I have read here made me worried. However, the comments made by parents of SMC students are fairly positive.  Is your child a happy kid? I like SMC a lot for the language enriched environment and it is very close to my home.

I want to ask you what's the medium of instruction for other subjects such as physical education, music and religious studies.  Do they eat the school provided lunch in the classroom?  How long is the lunch hour?  Is the food yummy?

Sorry for my many questions.  I just want to find out more.  Thanks.

My son is now studying in P1 and he enjoys the school life very much. I was helped by many SMC parents in BK before. Hope I can help you too.   

Religious study lesson is once a week. Mass is only for special event, e.g. school opening (only once so far). It is optional for parents to help and join the activities.

All lessons including assembly, music, PE.. etc except chinese are taught in Eng. As one of the class teachers is a NET (the other one is PTH speaking) and some parents don't know chinese, so the parents-teachers meeting for our class is also in Eng.

Students can either bring their own lunch or have the lunch box provided by 帆船。There are 4 choices, sometimes 籮米雞，豬扒包.. My son likes the food too, as they have them very much. Lunch time is 12:10-12:50.

Hi 各位,
小兒也是本年SMC P1學生,看到您們和我去年一樣,為自己心愛的寶貝做 "選小一"的重大決定，也想發表自己的感想。
小兒個性好玩、坐不定、較喜愛英語,我覺得他較合適活動教學。 有幸SMC取錄,除了常規課程,中、數、GS用坊間書籍外,英語/外語用校本課程。除學科外,學校有不同的活動時段,talent classes, uniform team, drama/dance, interactive activities, library period等都在課堂內舉行，他覺得十分多姿多釆(比幼稚園時)。此外，在這短短兩個月，他已經去過參觀校外布偶話劇，校內Halloween party....未來還有 Christmas charity.....Ocean park visit....他說十分開心，使他更愛SMC。
校內功課的質、量較我想像中高和多，每天也要協助他才能完成。但比較其他傳统名校，SMC只是一星期一默書或小測，他也應付自如，還有餘閒看課外書、練樂器。值得一提是SMC的全英、普環境真的能貫切執行，他說上課時一定要說Eng/PTH，小息時有時也會與同學仔用英語交談，現在也可以說簡單法語，這些語言環境也是我選擇SMC的原因。
其實選校一直都是配合兒女的能力、學校理念和學校課程為先導，如其道聽途說，讓我們這些"用家"反映學校的真實一面，給您們了解多一點。
希望各位也能為您的寶貝選擇到合適的學校、愉快學習。

St. Margaret is one of our target school but it is not as famous as TSL, and probably the class size is not big, not many comments from BK.  
I guess ppl have confidence in LMC coz it is from PLK.  For SMC, we really need to collect more n more info from BK or other sources to build up our confidence to this school.  Thx for all SMC parents sharing their thoughts.

你真係好緊張，日子都打錯，係咪10/11，唔駛緊張，做返平時嘅你就可以，都係了解一下小朋友的生活習慣，就我所知，小朋友英語能力ok和肯答問題，應該不成問題。
