Compare to some of the other KG Chat Rooms, actually, this one is not as active as the others.  It is even less BK parents here for St. Rose Primary.  That's why you don't see many topics posted for it.

Which KG does your girl study?  Do you think it is good one?

hi啊,我都每晚盡量search番d舊topic嚟睇呀,不過呢幾晚bk好亂,一係上唔到,一係跳番出去,一係慢到死..激死人呢
我囡而家讀間幼稚園都在st.rose附近,叫基督教中心幼稚園,讀左4年嘞,頭三年都好好,我好滿意,係今年個班主任勁差,不過捱多一個月都甩身了....
我今日去左註冊嘞,入到去感覺到d學生都幾開心,我唔知佢地做緊乜呀,好似在一個hall入面講緊talk咁,d學生叫同笑都好大聲,覺得佢地好開心咁(但我係睇唔到o架 )
其實我都有問過其他人,係st.rose自從中學搬左就無咁吃香咁,但睇番你地留言又唔覺真係叫"差"丫,我妹在未搬去沙田前佢都係st.rose中學舊生啊!
不過要等到7月2日先返去家長日,其實我好心急睇吓學校入面環境及各樣呢~~~又唔知佢點分班,只係知佢好似係無精英班咋!
係喎,咁你大女係咪將會入maryknol??咁你咪好辛苦囉?

我個女都會係9月成為st.rose 一份子, 我見到佢地放學既時候都幾混亂咁上校車, 又數人, d又搵車, d 校工都幾惡, 淨係見到咁多野, 希望依間學校岩我個女啦 !

It is because when parents choose a primary school, they need to think of the secondary school as well.  St. Rose secondary school moved to Shatin seems too far away for us in Kowloon.  That's why people reminded you to think of this point before you make decision on St. Rose Primary.  However, it is 6 years later, and whose know where you will live and the transportation by then?  So, if it is for me, I will leave this point out of the concern.

Yes, she will go to Maryknoll this September and I already worry about her since last year after the 1st round result.  I am planning to quit my job but my husband does not want me to quit.  

In this week, I am working on her room.  I am going to repaint her room in pink (her request) in order to give her a fresh start.  I am also looking forward to the parent day in July for Maryknoll so that I know what I need to prepare for her.  I am most anxious to get the booklist so that I can purchase the books and start reading with her..............  I think I am more worry than her to be in primary school.  So far, she is very eager to start her P.1.  The best is I told her that it is an English school and she will need to speak in English in the future.  She has no rejection or afraid on that.  Moreover, I just confirm a new maid, who is a registered teacher in Phillippine.  Since, this maid is new from aboard, my 2 girls will be forced to speak in English with her.  Hope this will help them to get faster to adapt in English environment.

吓???咁你睇到的認為係危險嗎??因上得校車都係在馬路邊啊~如果只係亂我都可以接受到,因為都見過幾次阿女放學上車(而家間幼稚園),同一時間放幾架車,又一齊放學,又趕住開車都好難唔亂o既,,,hehehe...只要係過程"安全"就可以了~

其實你可以暫時放低工作去真係唔係人人都做得到呢,一來唔係每份工都可以,二來少份入息都幾係野啊~
不過我又無好似你咁,預備咁多啊,,,而家只係多d睇有關間學校o既野,每日同個女傾偈時提吓囉,因為佢都唔知小學生活係乜野一回事,乜野係"小息"佢都唔知,重問我小息佢做乜好,跟住又問可唔可以小息出街,我問佢想出去邊,佢話聖羅撒咁近中心幼稚園,所以第時小息都想行返去睇吓,,,
同埋呢,如果d人常提到中學搬左去沙田只係路程問題的話,我又無乜所謂o既,又唔係荃灣返去柴灣,我開頭係以為地區變左令校風有影響,或成績有變,,,,我女讀左四年幼稚園都係搭校車,講真丫,車程咪三四個字之ma,但又唔係接佢一個,好多時都係要遊吓車河o架la,而家佢放學都成50分鐘先返到屋企留下o架...所以搭車搭幾耐搭幾遠都唔成大問題嘞,更何況升中時佢都大個左咁多咯!

其實我呢兩年都係做吓停吓, 所以都OK啦. 暫時打算休到下年頭再作打算.  

我都唔知有什麼要預備.  St. Rose已對K３學生做了升小一準備，如家課冊，默書等．所以可能只是作為家長的我太緊張啫．

My daughter will also study St Rose P.1 coming September. I would like to ask any parent know when will be the parent's day on 2 July? Will it be in the morning or afternoon?

The parent day starts from 9-12pm, I hope we could share more about this school.  If you don't mind, we could exchange phone by PM or we could meet on the parent day.

其實而家好多幼稚園o係k3都會課程跟小一模式啊,有時好似係迫得過緊添,我重記得舊年星期一檔案都係講呢樣野,重訪問埋油天校長,拎左部份幼稚園生的英文生字俾大學生,立法會議會睇,都唔係個個都識,我覺得個風氣唔再係"適應小一"而設了......我都覺得我女今年讀o既似小一多過k3呀,佢一年都三次考試,一星期默一次書,日日幾樣功課,每日都要抄寫一大篇.....我都有上過st.rose小學個網,入面有小一功課作品,同我女而家讀的都近似~但你女讀的maryknoll程度較深,我唔知可唔可以相題並論呢,,hehe

我九成九都會搭呀,因得一架巴士去到學校咋(朝早返工時間好迫人),返學時的落車點都近,只係放學時搭車行得都遠遠地,落雨好狼狽呢~

Charise is studying painting in Lo Fung for few classes and she likes it.  The paintings she bring back is not bad.

My freinds told me to line up in Lo Fung since I was preg.  I waited may be 1 1/2 yrs (can't remember exactly).

As I know it has summer course, may be u can give them a ring.

Thanks, DoReMiKa.  I heard about Lo Fung as well and was told that it needs to line up at least one year.  What is the fee per session?  Tivian is learning in the shopping mall downstair as it is convenient.  She went there for 1 year now for Chinese painting and not bad as well.  The fee is $90 per session of 1 hour.

I will give them a call on the summer cours.  Thank for checking this for me.

Hi, Cameo,

I also have only one bus directly to school and from school to home.  It is terrible when I collect my girls from school.  I picked them up last week, it is so hot.  We wait almost 10 minutes and the bus came was not air-conditioned.  My girls kept saying it was very hot.  So, I told them it is really better for them to take the school bus as they don't need to wait for the bus and it is for sure with air-conditioned.  And both agreed.

係呀,我星期三去註冊都行到成身汗呢,我要行番去太子道先有巴士,沿路又無瓦遮頭...我搭那一架巴士重要係成30分鐘先開一班車,miss左架車就有排等呢~~
同埋我個女由細都大汗到死,所以nursery開始就坐校車嘞,坐左幾年佢都鍾意,因為有冷氣之餘又可以同同學仔傾偈..heh
