YanyanMom, the mentioned circle & triangle are just cut-out shape of small yellow paper with a stamp on it like "How are you?" and "I love School".  They're small in size indeed.

The circle & triangle are very small in shape and they're put inside the schoolbag on Friday.  You may check the schoolbag again or ask the teachers later.

Calix got a sticker today though it's a princess.  Yet, he couldn't tell me why he got the sticker.  That's why I always tell you all b4 that Calix's expression and comprehension power lag behind...

Did your kids sing "The farmer in the dell" to you?  Calix sang it to me yesterday with movement.  But just the first few lines of lyrics, not the whole song.

Also, when talking about 火車, Calix imitated Ms. Chan by covering the mouth and said, "the next station is Kowloon Tong", very funny!

Joyce said if the kids can answer the questions of Ms. Lam, then the kids can take one small stamp from her.  Joyce also has got these.

Hi Calix's Mom,

Yes, Alton takes school bus but I will drop him1 or 2 times a week.  Ms. Lai assigned him to sit on the 2nd or 3rd row on the right in these 2 weeks.  See if he will sit the same place tmr morning.  :D

But tonite when she was reading her text book, she suddenly asked me to play the "包-剪-拳頭"....but she always used 拳頭"....

Calix sits on the 4th row, near the window on the right (his seat is fixed).  Let see if I can see Alton tmw morning.

Yes, Calix asked me to stand up and act as Ms. Chan to play 包剪"dup" with him.  He always use "dup" too but he requested me to use 剪.  So cunning!

I just thought the die-cut shapes are teaching aids only instead of kind of reinforcement.

Btw, did Ms. Chan mark a red star on the assignment on p.3?  Calix just finished it yesterday but I couldn't find any red star next to the assignment as usual.
Calix asked me to finish the work on p.16 with him.  He said the kid on the page was 細佬 and therefore he'd chosen the boy's clothes.

Hi 富淳 Mom,

I have never dropped Calix to school as I'm afraid he'd cry when I leave.  As I find Calix more & more like KV, I may consider that on their birthday party day which is heard (from other thread) to be held on 31 Oct 2008.

Btw, I'm a full-time mom and anyone else too?

No, no, no!  I don't want to have a 2nd baby, hehe...

I think it's just that Ms. Chan taught them how to distinguish a boy & a girl.  Today Calix asked himself suddenly (in English), "are you a boy or a girl?"  Then he answered by himself, "I am a boy!".  Don't know if these 2 incidents correlate.

Btw, Calix said they'd learnt 中：中間 (I doubt this coz Daddy taught him this yesterday).

For D, apart from "a dish", there are "a door" and "a desk".
