Little duck,

My boy is in G2 and he didn't mention about the English reading.  Which group is your kid in?  

When to start and by when to finish the 15 books?  Do they have to do book report afterwards.

I guess you will have it later.  It have to be finished on Dec 21.

My girl is in P1G1 and I found the English Reading Journal homework from her school bag on Tue night.  Actually the idea is good but just they got too many things to do recently.  We also ordered the "Goodie" from the school but we don't have time to read it thru!

Hi Tamatama and all other P2 Parents,

I received the homework of "Reading to Learn Journal" on today. I thought time is so tight to be finished on 21Dec. We have so many things to do: Chinese books reading
Quiz of different subjects
Dictation of both Chinese and English
1st term assessment on Nov

Therefore, I sent an email to the English teacher to reflect our opinion about this matter and suggested to postpone the deadline of submission. Let's wait and see for the response.

Have you got the notice about the English Reading Journal homework? I still haven't and it seems that my girl knows nothing about it.

Not yet and my boy said he did not know about this.  I know those from G1 have already.  Perhaps, it is for G1 only?

Is your girl in G2?  It seems there is little communication from Mr G.

Hi parents,

Could anyone tell if Sports Wear for primary student is only Track Suit?  Do we have to order the Long-sleeved Sports Wear also?  I'm confused because the order form shows that the Track Suit is for Primary only.

Little duck,

I think you also need the long sleeve sport wear.  Track suit is just the jacket and the long pants.

I have bought one long sleeve and need to order one more as my boy wears PE uniform 3 days a week.

Anyone knows that if it has only half day school for Nov 10 - 19?  I found that there's no lunch ordering for this period!

yes, half day school 10 -13 Nov (assessment) 14-19 Nov (post assessment)

Dear P2 parents,

Can you advise whether the P1 students will have the assessment tests as well?  The school said there is no test / exam.  If not, what will the P1 students do during the assessment period - class as usual.

Yes, I agree that there is little communication from Mr G. As my girl seldom brings home the pink book (and other English subject related materials (if there are any??)), I really don't know where she's at and what she's learnt.

Yes, I agree with you - I do not know much on what my boy has learnt during the class except the 30 dicatation words.

My boy occasionally brought back the pink book school based materials.

They should be learning vocab related to Halloween at the moment.  As per the P1 curriculum, they should have learnt (1) adj for appearances and (2) simple present tense to give information and for description.  But I am not sure what my boy is up to.

I heard other parents of the same group complaining Mr G not returning call.
