應該與去年一樣, 有關係的會先收到電話, 因為他們1st in早d嘛.  無關係的最遲收到電話, 去年打電話都要打幾日呀.

Thank you for your info.

I just received a letter which is the reject letter from Ying Wa, so a little bit sad.  Even YW was failed, I think the
chance for SPCCPS is .

Anyway, wait for a few more days.

And, if I forget my ref no., how can I get it back??

試下咁樣諗, 你幫個仔申請了數間小學.  你當然希望間間都收啦, 就算係你唔想讀既你都會prefer一個好消息的.  我都係一樣.  但係當我想到..............其實d學校都有時係幾唔同style的, 有些係活動教學, 唔俾壓力小朋友的.  有些是傳統學校.  加上每間學校都有自己唔同既要求. 所以你的孩子唔附合這間唔等於唔附合另一間的.

你試想想, 就算係你呢個大人都好難迎合到所有學校既要求啦, 更何況係一個小朋友.  好難的呀!!!

1. 校友 + 相同宗教 (ar)
2. 相同宗教 (??
3. 什麼也不是 (b)

如有錯漏, 煩請更正.

我都唔無留意我既ref #呀, 無留底.  無得查架啦, 就算你打去, 學校都唔會幫你查啦.  你在這裏留意下你d 電話去到以上那一種啦, 可能有d線索.

Let me share my girl’s experience. She spent 45 mins there and was the last one come out from her batch.
First, she played the memory card game with two other children. There were 9 pairs of cards on the table.
My girl got 6 pairs while the other two got 1 pair and 2 pairs respectively. The teacher praised for her good memory
And also ask the other children to give her praise (i am not sure if it is true). Then she played puzzle with a teacher alone.
After that, she have to play the toys with other children. This is a free session, she can play whatever she liked.
After that, she sat down and read books. Then she meet a lady personally (I am not sure if she is vice principal, she wears glasses
And sure is not the principal, but in middle-age. I didn’t ask if she meet her in a room). The lady asked her to play a memory game again!!
She did it. Then the lady told her a very long story and ask her some questions. Also 2-3 simple question about herself.
My girl told me the details two days ago. She didn’t told me the whole story on the day she had the interview.

My child is under AXX group and I've just received phone call for 2nd interview this afternoon. It will be held early next week.

When in the afternoon did you receive the call?  Is it after 4pm?

I am BXXX so i think we will receive calls later if we are lucky enough. And I have done some predication for sharing, based on my assumption only.

There were 2000 application this year as declared by the school to the media.
1st day of interview started 24th Sept to 23rd Oct. Assuming no interviews to be held on weekend.
Then it takes 22 days to complete the interviews. It is about 100 student per day. My girl has interview on 11 Oct and her ref is B65X. Then I arrive that there 500 (A,AR and BR) and 1500 (B). According to the last year’s practice, it took 5 days to finish all the call. Assuming it is the same this year, then those with ref B shall receive call on day 4 and 5. Why not Day 1 to 3? I have presumed the number of applicant who have relationship could have a higher chance of being accepted for 2nd Interview. I expected amongst 200, no more than 60-80 (200*30% of non related) of Ref B could win. Then they should be the last batch of receiving calls.
The above is my personal assumption and hope it may comfort all parents who are indeed very nervous at the moment, especially for those Ref B group.

P.S. Though my girl has been praised for doing very well after each session, she said she heard the teacher praised other children as well. I admire the teacher’s generosity and encouragement.

I am actually a AR but still have not received a call, that's why I am very nervous now.

You mentioned there are 500 (A, AR & BR), did you get this number from a reliable source? or just wild guess?

i arrived this figures by the following assumption only:

According to my girl interview day, which is Oct 11 and her reference is B65X.
It tooks 8 more days to finish all the interview, presuming 100 per day (21 days of interview)
Then there should be 1500 Ref B (8*100 per day + 700~~ up to 11 Oct ). If this prove to be true, then 2000-1500 is 500 for (A,AR,BR)

This is only my assumption, not from other source. Since I am nervous too, I try to figure that out myself.

How about "According to the last year’s practice, it took 5 days to finish all the call"?  Did they only call after school hours?
Why did it take so long?
