Dear all Parents,

I've received interview letter, on 29/09. I have several questions which need help :
-interview for kids only ? any parents interview. It mention briefing session for main stream and international stream, as well as school tours.....
-if I choose International stream, is it an advantage since I can have chance for both main and Int'l stream.
- school fee for main and international stream is diff ?
- any idea for the type of interview ? group/individual , playing games or Q&A ?

有否收到有關做電腦練習(中文及數學 (英文之前己派了))的登入編號和密碼呢?

Mrssslui, 因沒有比較過, 故不知算不算深; 好像不多課外東西考, 只有數學及常識有挑戰題之設, 佔5分左右.

中文"每日一篇" (全港)已於星期二(十月三日) 開始了, 我也未收到登入編號及密碼, 但可以補讀的.

芵文的要十月十二日才開始, 但早前已派了登入編號及密碼, 不知低年級的派了沒有.

如要參加數學的練習, 要自行付款的.

另外, 因為用的數學書及中文書是"現代"的, 可問老師取登入編號及密碼自行登入做(數學 及/或 中文) 習作 (可參看書的後頁, 出版社有說明的).

以上的全不是硬性規定要做, 似乎亦沒有計進成績內, 只是前列的話, 有關主辦機構會有張 Cert 給予而已. 觀乎過去, 以一, 二年級的最多參與, 相信是因為家長較為照顧小朋友, 有看通告.

我只知道英文有每日一篇及已收到登入編號及密碼。 不過, 我也沒有收到有關中文每日一篇的通告和登入資料。

唔知其他小一/低年級的家長有沒有收到呢?

我的小朋友是小一的，他也沒有收到有關中文每日一篇的通告和登入資料，但有收到英文每日一篇的登入編號及密碼。

Would like to know whether the school hour start very early in the morning ? 07:30 is it true ? If I live in TKO, school bus will start 06:40...is it correct ? I've applied for 2007 P1 and a bit worried about whether my boy can wake up so early ? :cry:

Dear Freddielau,

As I heard, it needs to match the starting time of Kindergarten. Don't worry your child cannot wake up. Just make sure he goes to sleep on time. (My child has woken up at 6:05 for 4 years) For the school bus time table, you can check the Website of Tsung Tsin.

By the way, is your kid in P4 ? how's your feeling on workload & pressure for kid (homework, diction, test, exam)....How do U compare International stream with main stream ?

Dear Freddielau,

Oh, after checking with my child, I've found the starting time of Kindergarten is not earlier than that of primary school. (For primary school, it is from 8:05 to 15:30) So early for the school bus, perhaps due to too many students.

For the workload and pressure, although I have seen some comments (not only in BK) of high workload for Tsung Tsin, I have really no this feeling. (Other Tsung Tsin parents, please comment.)

Homework--2/3 to 4/5 pcs per day (and, for my child, most are finished in the last remedial lesson (14:35-15:30))
Dictation--Chinese/English, every two or three weeks (will not be taken in the same week, maybe some parents feel too less). Sometimes there are dictation for the vocabulary of GS/Science
Test/Exam--2/1 for first term, 1/1 for second term (for this year and last year, in the past, 2/1 for second term too)

For International stream and main stream, I am sorry I cannot say anything. (好像毛主席說過沒有調查研究過便沒有發言權嘛.)

相信你們已收到 "現代" 的登入編號及密碼吧. 但據知之前提到的"每日一篇" (由中大方面負責) 已被 現代"每日一篇"所取代, 之前的"每日一篇"崇真不會參與了.

另外, 各位的燈謎 猜得如何? 努力啊!

昨天收到學校電話(報稱陳太), 會有個BBQ晚會於20Oct (Fri)在學內舉行 for P1 年級的家長/小朋友們加深認識和溝通。 有無其他P1家長收到電話和參加BBQ呀?
