Cyrus. When I played with my son today, he suddenly told me that he ate Cyrus's bread during snack time.   激死 !! You may ask your son if it's true. If yes, I feel sorry about it. My son is just (tam tak yee) he surely knows that this is not right and he should ask teacher for one more.

OK, I'll try to describe his location ...

Andrew is on Duckling group.

When you are facing the class, the table is on your right hand side.  He sits on the side that is facing the wall (i.e. not facing the door), he sits beside a girl, and he is closest to the teacher.

It's funny, coz there's only one word different in the girl's and Andrew's Chinese name, and they are sitting beside each other.  May be the teacher thought that they were brothers and sisters.

Andrew takes school bus.  We call him 曦曦, and I think teachers call him 曦曦 also.

I envy those parents who can take care of their kid!I'm at work, my office starts work at 8:30, I can't even bring him to school.  So from time to time, I'll call Miss Wong to learn about his situation in class.

But i've some problems~~

Before SKH, Justin is studying in SPK...
seems that Justin loves SPK more than SKH....
He told me that he misses the teacher there...
and having started his school in SKH, his emotions seem to be unstable.... but before that, when he's in SPK, i thought he loves schooling very much...

i 'm confused at his reaction to the new school...
he has started only one week, but he told me that he likes the old school more...and now he said he doesn't want to go to school...

what should i do?  
Could any mummy  kindly give me any advice??

Hi Willie, so you are also justin1229?  Yes, your son is sitting next to mine.  My son seems to play with your son a lot. He told me about your son every day.  My son is called "Sin Chun Yin", at first he even called himself "Shum Chun Yin"... I thought teacher has read the chinese incorrectly coz the 2 chinese words are so similar... but after 1 day, he told me the name of your son and I knew what was happening.

Horace told me that your son didn't cry anymore by end of last week.  If SKH is the school that you want your son to go to, I would suggest you try for 1-2 mth to see if your son will get better or not.  If you change back to SPK just because he wants to do so, it'll be very difficult for you to change school in the future.

Haven't get on line for a few months. Great to see so many response la! Are your children happy in SKH? I feel that my son still miss the old school at lot and seldom talk about in school.

yes~ it's true that justin doesn't like to cry, but if he feel unhappy, he would use other ways to vent his anger, like shouting, throwing things and even hitting others~    

i've taught him for many times, and every time he would apologize to me and said, "I dare not next time!" But everytime when he loses his temper, he does the same thing...

seems that Horace has talked a lot about the things at school to you~ actually justin always talks to me, but never mention anything about the school until i asked him...

right... I really like SKH, and i would wait and see.

Hope that he would adapt to the school life in SKH very soon~

Hi Justin1229,

I think you can also call up the class teacher and learn more about your kid at school.  Some child performed differently in school and at home.  You can also discuss with the teachers and see what you can do to help him adapt to the new environment.

My son is studying in AM class A Orange group. I am 4 months pregnant and have been sick for the past few months. That's why no mood to on line. Does the techer call any of you up to update how the baby is doing? They finally call me up since I wrote some comment on the handbook since Week 2.

I've talked to the class teacher last week~

this mon, when justin went to school with his grandmother (my mum), he said he didn't want to go to school.  But then after he entered the classroom, my mum saw that he was quite happy dancing there.

then, on tue, justin still said that he didnt' want to go to school.  But again, my mum saw that he was playing and laughing.

Perhaps he just told us he didn't want to go to school to grasp our attention?????
