There are 34 students in 1 class in primary school but 40 students in 1 class in secondary school.

7 x 34 = 6 x 40

Right. The kids that enter St. Mary's primary school(and Holy Angels) before 2005 cannot all promoted to St. Mary's secondary school because St. Mary's only become "through train' this year. On other hand, the student numbers is decreasing from P.6 to P.1 in most subsidized schools (including St. Mary's) as the birth rate is decreasing. In future, 240 seats (S.1) of St. Mary's secondary section (at present) can accomodate all of St. Mary's primary one students and Holy Angels primary one students admitted this year.

The ones that enter St. Mary's from this year onwards benefits from the "through train" because according to EMB regulation, 一條龍制學校結龍中學額需超逾小學, 據規定中學須全數收取小學所有小六畢業生, 在減去5%中學留級學額後, 還要保留不少於中一學額的15%(新校為20%), 供其他學生循自行收生或統一派位入讀. I predict the future secondary one student no. of St. Mary's is around 250 ("approx" 120 St. Mary's + 100 Holy Angels + 15% seats for outsiders) base on primary one student numbers admitted by the two primary schools this year.

Agree. Every school has its yardstick. I believe the school teachers and counselling team will do their best to help students but the parents' support and the students' mentality and capability are equally important in their academic performance.

你地會不會參加義工家長去幫手派飯, 我好有興趣想知多d 亞女在學校的情況.我見佢日日放學都好開心, 雖然第1天上堂好多烏龍野, 不過佢好快又習慣了.

I have applied English drama workshop/Percussion (same time after Wednesday school, have to drop one if both are admitted) and Drawing sessions for my daughter. Those are the interest groups that she like.

I have applied English Drama only. Actually she also likes Robot buiding and Cello but I only allow her to choose one in case it's too busy for her.

It seems like English Drama is very popular. Should I apply one more for her as buffer? But I am fear that teacher will complain if I drop one when both of them are accepted..

I am now training my girl to tidy up her school bag every night. As I am a working mom, it would be a disaster to me if I have to take care of everything.

Are your daughter too busy because she is having other extra curricular activities after school? Maybe you should apply one more activity for her if time allows. By the way, I would have let my daughter join more activities if I don't need to work or we are living nearby the school campus.

亞女自已選了圍棋, 科學, 敲擊樂
我幫她選了游泳及話劇.

我都要返工, 不過都是在tst ,份工也是要成日出街,因此好方便接送, 屋企也很近學校.

我希望佢參加多d 學校的活動, 對學校有歸屬感, 而我地學校是一條龍, 因此學業成績我不會太執著, 希望佢有個開心又多姿多彩的小學生涯.

班主任有打電話比我說, 亞女在學校都幾乖, 因此都好放心.
佢話最鐘意上數學堂, 因為次次都是看tv.
