My daughter got accepted into PM Causeway Bay campus.  We did not attend playgroup, no connection to the school, daughter's performance that day was so-so, not great.

Same here, waiting list at the Ho Man Tin campus. A bit disappointed as my son performed well at the interview...

wow ur kid must be very smart to get offers from both schools, I would prefer HKPS as it offers a better language environment and "harder" syllabus, I heard Vic is more free play type and not much to learn at PG

maybe they have record in their internal system that u already accepted their K1 offer so reject your N1 application now, all Vic in same organisation so that's my guess.......

K1 都會博下 Vic / SC 同根德園 , 唔得就算

Same as you. My girl has York K1 offer, and I really disappointed that we are not accepted in Vic PN. We are attending their PG for 3 days / week.

Anyway, I want the PN in Vic just because it is near our home. We will go to Cannan (Kln Tong) for PN and York for K1 then.

It was a group interview and they requested the kids to do the same thing: freeplay (walk around the class rooms and choose your own toys for the few 5 minutes, then get together and listen to stories and sing along with teachers).  I got the feeling that the teachers were observing the parents / child interaction more than the child himself / herself.  Some mothers were very pushy and competitive and kept telling thier kids what to do.  I was super relaxed, I tried to not come across as the 'tiger mother'; I also did not get upset when my daughter didn't perform when the teacher asked her to (a few other mothers got very tensed and angry at their kids).   My daugher did not try to 'fight' for the attention of the teacher whereas the other kids / parents did.

I am a mother who did care for my kid's performance and tried to help her perform best @the interview, I hope you are not implying that we are "tiger mothers", my girl got accepted CWB am class

to be subjective, it is hard to guess their selection criteria, whether accept or not might not be purely be linked to performance of the kid, so all parents, pls relax but also prepare them to show their best, it is hard for us to control, some schools I think she performed well only waitlist, for Vic I did not expect much, she got accepted

我囡收咗Belchers pm class (5 days), 但其實我想返am class. 不過am得2/3 days. 至於IB, 我沒在意, 因pn班都係想佢玩下, 學下英文先.

My girl is 2 yrs old now. But York only can offer K1 (in 2013), I want my girl to study in Vic PN and will join York in 2013.

Waiting list on PM section. What does it mean? Although I know it is still on waiting list, but why they have to mentioned on PM section, not AM....?

Anyone knows?

我都被REJECT了, 不過囡囡當日表現唔係好, 唔收都理所當然嘅... 反正都有樓下PN OFFER, 返間幼稚園近近哋都好啦{:1_1:}

I think it's either accept or waiting list letter right? No one got a firm reject letter. They just said they will put your son/daughter application on their file.
