Hi  Yummymama,

We are pretty much in same boat.  Teacher told me to train my son both big and fine motor skills.  The worst is she said he is not following instructions too well as he day-dream.  However, if the teacher ask him question individually, he can answer the questions, so he has no problem from the academic standpoint.  
Teacher said most of the kids can do button/unbutton and this is a skill they must know by 2nd semester.  Well, we still have a few months to teach them.
My son picnic is tomorrow....., he still having low fever this morning, so I am not sure will he be able to attend the school picnic tomorrow.

It should be started holiday from 19th Dec, whereas the party should be on 16th Dec.....
