本來我放棄哂 點知呢兩日睇睇下又緊張番

SPCC打嚟話校長已經睇過阿仔嘅application,但係由於係underage,所以希望阿仔下年再apply p.2.總算係有個回覆,好過石沈大海,幾阿Q!

今年我可能會再apply SPCC P.2.至於當時offer比阿仔讀P.2嗰間我最終都無去到,因為其實我都係希望阿仔一級級上.

好好彩阿仔係大抽獎抽到間幾好嘅學校,依家都讀得幾開心,唯一係佢成日話太易同太小功課!

我小朋友昨日已收到2nd電話,係屬於大家講既有關係o個組,

其實 ,幾年前,我大仔就好似大家一樣,冇關係,冇宗教,冇背景,什麼都冇o既狀況下考到,(其實我好感恩,....佢可以入讀)
(我同濤兒一樣,我想她可以明白我的感受)

今次,我第二個小朋友係屬於你o地講0既有關係o個組。
係幼稚園裡面,曾經有好多家長見到我就講,妳就好啦.唔使擔心入唔到,阿哥係裡面讀.其實,次次聽到我都有好多好複雜0既感受,我會同同學家長講,其實我好明白妳的感受,因為當年大仔去考o個陣時,我都經歷過。但係,依家,我好感恩同埋都好開心第二個小朋友係變成屬於有關係哩組,因為,第二個小朋友好慘呀!
佢o地去考其他間學校時,間間學校都會問佢ｏ地係唔係有哥哥或姐姐呀!咁～係讀邊間呀?? 小朋友又唔會講大話,佢當然照實講喇!但當對方知道有阿哥或姐姐係spcc時,可能就已經失去機會喇! 咁~你0地仲覺得我小朋友還有機會可以考到咩? 當然冇可能. (所以,今次,我可以理解點解學校會比唔多於70%既學位比細佬或著妹妹,我覺得這是一個很好的決策,而且大家唔好唔記得,就算有關係,都未必有機會入到,都要視乎當時面試0既表現,講真,我都識有朋友0既仔女連2nd都冇啊! )依家,雖然入到2nd,但係,都好驚唔收,只排後補,如果真係咁樣,就真係慘了,因為,間間學校都唔收,去派位得10分,點有學校收啊??咁~即係要等大抽獎.？？？............

嘩, 有關係喎, 百分比高咁多, 梗係冇咁擔心.
但想講既係, 之前見過lin624既一段message話今次比起前一次更擔心, 真係>100%身同感受！

幾年前, 我都係好似大家咁, 大囡係group 4 百無的組別, 而且係副校長1st in, 結果某一天忽然收到2nd in電話，最後亦終於順利入讀（其實過程仲有ｄ迂迴，不過從略）到左今年，其實應該係舊年，細妹變成有關係，外人睇以為機會大，結果去年今日，等極都冇電話，知道話已經打晒電話，連2nd in都冇份，想叩門都唔得，想唔死心都唔得；可幸既係因為呀妹係12月細囡（亦只有安慰自己係因為咁而唔收佢）．為左入好學校，加上兩姐妹一齊讀書方便照顧，決定再接再厲．．．

Believe or not and don't ask where the source came from, next Wednesday is the last day they call for 2nd in...just wait for few more days!

Why can't you tell us the source of information?

There have been too many devastating speculations in this thread causing so much stress to BK parents.  If you can't quote your source of info, I will have to discredit your comment and will stay hopeful until I hear something authentic to the contrary.

Even if your info is "insider info", at least tell us the way you became aware of it - e.g. overhearing the headmistress?  Stealing internal memos?  Tapping internal phone conversations or hacking emails?

Thanks a lot. Actually, this information at least give us some "HOPE". Although it may only last for a few days.

I'm sorry to have used such words.  I did not mean you would engage in such means, but just that if the insider info was obtained in means other than direct enquiry, knowing your source of info would give us a better idea on what to expect.

Thank you for your sharing. It's really helpful and encouraging. I think your source is accurate.It makes more sense then the previous predictions that calls ended today.

But if it's insider's info, he / she won't be able to share with us openly. I appreciate the effort to let us know the info.

大家 不 要吵了, 都在一條船上, 要互相鼓勵. 我很明白你們的心情, 三年前, 我兒子也是第四組, 一點寄望 也沒有, 但又bingo了, 今年有關係, 反而更希望, 更緊張, 天天盼呀盼!天天祈禱! 總告訴自己希望越大, 失望越大.  到現在還是沒有把握, 只能全力以赴.

Btw，我見有好幾位家長教師會嘅家長委員，佢哋都有2個或以上小朋友一齊讀緊 SPCCPS；印象中，有一位家長委員有三位小朋友讀緊 !!

In that case, SPCC's staff may be trying to mislead us into believing that the calling period is longer than the actual one for 2 years in a row (last year the calling period was as short as 3 days)...any particular reason?

Any idea when Group 4 will be called?  Please try to get more info as you know we are all anxiously waiting...

As far as I know, there is no particular reason and I don't see why they have to mislead anyone.  It's just so simple and is true that they just take longer time in processing this year's applications.  Wednesday is their ASSUMING last calling day which is MOST LIKELY to be.  But if things are still in process, they might give out the calls after WED.  No idea when they will give out calls to Group 4 candidates as some of my friends are in G4 and still haven't received any calls yet.  Just don't think too much as there's nothing we can do but wait patiently.  Hope everyone feels better now and have a good sleep well tonight.  Good luck to all and have a good weekend with your kids before receiving good news next week.
