Dear ansonmom,

My son is in K1 pm class too. I also find it difficult to arrange some extra curriculum classes for my son on week days, since it will be too rush in the morning and too late after school. So at this moment, I let him attend a english lesson on sat afternoon, and a piano lesson on sun noon.

Does anybody has some good suggestions in time arrangement? Thank You!

妳個小朋友好叻，全部生字識哂。
我囡囡都係讀下午班，可安排星期六彧日。我多數安排星期六，而星期日為家庭日。
我住清水灣區，但呢一區沒咩班，所以每星期去到銅鑼灣學，都好遠呀!

我想問下你們帶小朋友去邊到學鋼琴呀？因為之前都有安排囡囡星期六去跟個老師學，但唔知個老師係唔係年紀比較大(都有50幾歲),佢教既方法比較沉悶，攪到囡囡學左1個月，就話唔學，有點抗拒。所以暫時停左。初時我會問自己係咪太早比佢學(始終3歲幾人仔)，但看見好多BK媽媽咁早就比小朋友學，似乎又唔係太大問題。SO,有沒有心得及介紹？請PM給我。

我都唔知學校有咁既安排,咁見個女又吸收到咪教佢囉，點知唔使一個星期，佢竟然識晒D字，依家咪晚晚同佢溫下，另外再教D其他課外新既生字。慢慢咁等佢入腦。
其實依家囡囡都有學下D興趣班，如：畫畫、跳舞、體操。盡量都安排在早上，及星期日為family day。

Dear all moms,

我只安排了小兒每星期上一堂英文班, 我亦有問過piano class, 但正式來說要他們手指完全發展成熟應該在4 歲左右. 而且小兒到現左還是不太可以將學校生活完整地告訴, 所以我想如果現左又讓他上一些太formal 的course, 一來怕浪費金錢, 二來怕他坐不定! 所以等他足3 歲半才想piano class.

我現左亦在找一些晝班給他, 希望其他媽咪可以交換資料!

That is good for accompanying with child when taking piano class.  For my example, I can know the son's leaning progress & I can make the revision to my son at home due to the class time is short.
My son just is 3 yrs old with little power of concentration, so i choose the time of class only to half hour & the learning method like a playing.  The teacher will use a simple term e.g. children is 1 candy (1 bit), adult is 2 candy (2 bit), old man is 4 candy (4 bit)….etc which will easy to my son for learning.  Moreover, the teacher will give my son a sticker or candy as bonus, it can let my son get more attention in the class.

Dear lemon,

According to my aunt's advise (she has performance level in piano), better not to let you children to learn piano before 4 years old. Your daughter is only 2 years 10 months old, her hand is not fully developed yet. Futhermore, piano lesson needs a lot of practise and memory, I believe it may be a bit difficult for a small child like her.

You may consider to let her learn some music class first, but not the formal piano class. Develop her interest in music first, then let her try the piano class later.

This is my own opinion, I hope you don't mind!

我囝囝星期四6:00-6:30pm學溜冰, (因為佢常常去又一城睇人溜冰, 講了好多次話要學); 星期六2:30-3:30pm就係柏斯學鋼琴, 係親子班, 因為我本身唔識彈琴, 所以選擇親子班, 等我都可以學琴, 又可以知道老師教了囝囝甚麼, 如果唔係, 我都唔知點同佢溫習
