There's around 4 boys in each K1 am class.  Some parents enroll St. Rose kinder bcos their boys are too active and want them get closer to the girls, hope the boys can be more polite.

I know a friend's kid studying in one of the very famous kinder in kowloon tong lately.

The girl is studying K2 and everyday she uses almost one and a half hour to finish home work. She is unhappy when she do home work.  Whenever she see a stranger, always hiding at the back of parent.  And only likes to play by her own.  So my friend is very headache about her behavior.

After chatting with him, I like St. Rose more & more (same as you)  My girl is studing without any pressure.

In kinder the children will treat each other like classmate or playmate. They are just little kids, the mind is pure & simply. Male/Femal doesn't very meaningful to them. The boys will not play only among the boys, they will get together with the girls too. Your worry may be happened when they are in primary.

父母的安排真的揍效嗎？
Every kid is different and special, you know your boy better than anyone. The most important is the attitude of the parent.

This is my personal opinion.

I am a new comer.  My daughter will study K2 on the coming Sept.  I learnt that the school bus service was not so good and had changed the company.  

My daughter also will take the school bus from Shun Lee.  How is the service for this route?  And did the new company better than before?

Dear all,

My daugther will study K1 on the coming September (the route from Tsuen Wan).  I understand many parents complained that the services of the company of school bus.  So, I feel so worry about that.  Is it the name of new company "海通旅x公司".  I asked the staff of 海通 that whether the school bus be installed a seat belt.  They said yes.  Is it right or not ?  How about the service of the new company is good ?

I understand your worry and feeling which just like when my daughter started K1 last Sept.

The school has assigned a school bus company repsonsible (worked w/school long time) for all kinder , primary and secondary students.  Now the service is much improved, so don't worry.

School will give you a notice regarding the school bus arrangement.  As I know most of the students are taking this school bus and they are very happy to see their classmates going to school together.

It is no force to take this school bus co.  If you still worry, you can look other private school bus or send her to school by your family memebers.

It's so sweet to spend time with the angel.

I may take leave during summer and play with her.  

My friend never mentioned to change kinder for the kid.  He's so proud that the girl is studying in this school. Their theory is "kids don't know what's difficult . Difficult now, future will be easy".

If the kids learn difficult things with pleasure and happiness, I agree.  If it goes under pressure and sad, that what for.  Do you agree?

The route for Shun Lee should be the same as mine, that is route no. 11.  I found the driver and EE very nice for this route.  I have no problem with them.

It has been a while since I last visited.  I do agree that St. Rose gives my 2 girls a happy KG lives.  Tivian's ballet classmate study in one of the famous KG and her mother told me that everyday there will be Chinese, English & Maths for homework.  For the Chinese and English, they need to write about 50 times of the same word.  She needs to spend a lot of time on her homework, while Tivian normally can finish her homework in 1/2 hour.  That's really a big different.  But your friend could be right regarding the level of difficulities kids can take.  The boys next to my home studies in the same KG and he never complaint about that.  I asked him once if he feel happy to go to school and he said yes.  So, no comment at all.  Every parent has their own target and choice in the KG.  For sure that all parents has their kids' best interest in their hearts when they made the decision.

Any summer course you arranged for your girl?  Simonne is only 3 1/2 so not many choices for me.  I can only arrange her for the ballet class and is considerring to give her the drawing class like Tivian, but it seems so expensive for her as I am sure she will only 塗鴉.  If she is 4 years old, that will be better.  Do you have any good suggestion for me?

Charise will join a English playgroup in CWB; twice a week in the afternoon, 3 hrs/session.  This summer topic is Our Home Countries.

Now she wants to learn swimming, may be cause it's summer

Do you ever heard of Lo Fung Paiting?  The comment is not bad.  But you have to wait cause the classes are always full.

How's Tivian's ballet, which level now?

Charise is very enjoy the recording this morning in school and sang very lound.

I prefer some course closed by as I have arranged a lot of classes for Tivian.  I can't handle to carry Simonne to somewhere too far away.   I heard of Lo Fung Painting, but someone told me once that you will need to line up for one year for the space.  I just sent Tivian in one of the painting class downstair.  May be I should send Simonne as well.  The fee will be $90 per session (1 hour).

Tivian's ballet class is good, she took the P.P. exam 2 weeks ago, so after summer should be primary.  She enjoys it very much, hence, I will let Simonne to take the ballet as well.  She already keep asking me when she can start the ballet course.

Today I saw a ad for summer course for kids, I am going to visit their website.  If I find anything interested, I will let you know.

Did you arrange phonics for Charise?  I visited a website, which introduced by one of the BK member, it is : www.starfall.com.  Please visit it, I think it is very good.

Hi, Fumiko,

St. Rose is not a English KG.  Marjority is in Chinese.  

After KG, it is mainly base on the parents' choice.  But most of them go to St. Rose Primary School.

The Primary school is a govt. subsidiary school, so the allocation of seats is based on the govt. P.1 allocation scheme.  That is mark counts.  The connection with Primary School can only enable you to have a 3rd Round interview if your girl failed in the 1st and 2nd Round.  If you have 20 marks from the system, you are quite safe to get a seat in the Primary school of St. Rose.

I think it should be located in Prince Edward instead of Kowloon Tong.  It's address is : 104A Boundary Street.  You can visit their website for details :
