hello, i think this is the good channel for the parents to exchange the information here, really can know more between the child and the school.

Dear all,

do yr child wear PE uniform or sch. uniform on Thursday for LWL lesson. As i saw in the slogan performance movie, i saw 2 kinds of uniform they had wore in p.1C.  So far in the others classes had the same situation.  Is there either one is ok for thursday until the LWL lesson activity had actually been carried out later?

Hi Tintiny,

It should be wear the PE uniform on Thursday with LWL, may be the LWL is not yet started , so some of the students still wear the white uniform la! Also, my son says, no matter what uniform they wear, it is ok, no problem wor!

Would anyone tell me the spelling (Ch.1-3 Vocab) should be all vocab in G.S. TB or only vocab wrote down in the G.S. Vocab book (the green book)?

I felt very 'lo hei' as my son said spelling is very difficult and really do not like, oh, no! how can i help him!

HI Tintiny,

My son says he has already needed to spell the English test words, so it is very tough for him to spell the vocabs of GS and also some of them are long la! hehe! Don't worry, let them finish the Englisg test first, then they may have the energy to do the GS vocabs la!

Hi Bignose,

My son is the same, says only revise the pink file "A", but he says the techer did not ask him to spell one -tne wor! Oh no, really?

I find the GS vocab is quite long and difficult, so, may be need to work hard on 1/10, no playing ar! Too poor! Don't know if he can do it!

Add oil la! Cannot worry too much, otherwise I am afraid I may give him  too many stress! Tough to be a mother nowadays lei!

My son said he should review the colors wor.  Now, we are studing togather.

my son said to study the words in textbook.  not sure about the folders.  don't you all think that the teacher should give us some instruction like the one they had for Chinese last week?

I'm also thinking that the school should let us to visit the teacher and the school to set the correct expectation.  I want to write a message to Mr. Lo about this.

I also cannot believe that they ask the kids to spell the vocab for GS.  Isn't it too difficult for them?

I'm totally understand your feeling. Same as u, my son doesn't like spelling, every time when I ask him to do homewoks/study we at least spend more than 30 mins.  argue for homework.

A sample testing paper may help.  

Anyway, I think P1 should be a year to help different pupils come from different 幼稚園 to have a 磨合． So, the test should be easy.  We should take it easy.

1. Does it mean kid's need to bring their folders (2 red & 3 blue) to school every day?  
2. CHI class need to bring 高效識字,來說普通話及workbook普通話(3 books) everyday?
3. V.A. (flower) homework should return in next class?

My son seems totally forgot it.

1.  兩個紅色files已經帶回家﹐無需帶回校直至有指示才要帶﹐學校派返來既English Worksheets要放入file內。
有兩個藍色files被老師收起﹐另一個就要明天帶回校。

2.  跟據早前的資料﹐CHI只需帶《綜合高效識字》﹐PTH才帶《來說普通話》及workbook。

3.  V.A.幅flower唔知要唔要交﹐因為上星期打風停課﹐還未上V.A.堂。

遲了上來看，本backpack wookbook回來，不緊要，我個仔一日到黑都唔會野 ；另外今日功課，中文什麼改正語工Ex. 1-6，都不知什麼來，我又沒有做

另外我問阿仔，佢說老師說Test是在班房左指右指，之後寫下來，eg: It is a Chair.......，不過不知真定假，回可看看點
