Dear all,

I left earlier last night.  I have heard Ms. Yim and Ms. Tse briefing on new books and about writing.  Anything should I pay special attention to?  Please advise.

Moreover, the school hours are from 9-10 only.  Can parents accompany them to attend the class.  or just normal schooling but leave earlier.

On 3/9, no parents can attend but having school bus services.

For the books, Miss Chan introduced the new English books for K2 and similar as Chinese one.  They will give back the worksheets after finish in classes and ask us to put into the folder.  An English worksheet will give to student to do during weekend.  There are total 40 worksheets in one term.  Some will be finished in classes and some at home.

As same as Chinese package, there are 5 topics of English books in one term and no teaching report by teacher this year.  We need to refer to the first page of books for detail.  For the evaluation report on the last page of English books, teachers will not finished. Parents can do by ourselves, however, teachers will not give any comment on this but on the evaluation report made by them.

The English package also contains a story book but it will be kept by teacher for using in class.  There are two more books for phonics and one story book for using in class.  

One English report completed by Miss Yip will give us after finish 2 topics and there are 10 topics in K2 (5 in 1st term and 5 in 2nd term).  So the 3rd report will only be returned after 2nd term commences.

English evaluation report will be given after term finish.  There will be completed by English teacher and Miss Yip together.  Two report in total for one year.

Miss Yip teaches phonics and oral as well as Miss Yim teaches games, drama, role play and recognition of words.

Miss Yip will be on maternity leave from mid of September till end of November and a new English teacher Vincy ??? will teach them in English only during this period.

The Chinese learning evaluation report will be given after finish one topic, but not at one, at least take 2-week to be completed.

For the schedule, English Oral are on both Monday and Tuesday; big class of English lesson is on Wendesday, small class of English/Maths lesson are on both Thursday and Friday.  Friday also has computer lesson and Thursday has Putonghua lesson.

If same classroom of Love, they have groups of Bus, Aeroplane, Car and Train.  Ho-yan will like much.

有關jmc course, 係讀到三個月時, 我都諗過好唔好繼續, 因佢都唔太專心, 可能進度慢, 佢覺得上堂悶, 因為在家佢又識彈老師教的melody, 而家佢識單手彈哂twinkle twinkle little star的so fa name 了, 同佢傾過不專心便不會繼續了, 結果她又專心多了, 覺得繼續下去的理由都在於佢, 佢有心就繼續, 冇心就stop, 第二期我有繼續, 因佢自己話想上, 其他的興趣班則於8月後stop了, 因佢唔想繼續, 但就會搵其他地方俾佢試, 至於你講的course, 我覺得是兩樣野, 如果時間撞了, 你又想train up佢呢方面的潛能, 可以考慮同佢傾, 上完本book 1就結束,  如他上堂仍表現不專心, 便不能繼續上堂了, 如佢仍冇改善上堂的態度, 你都有理由reject佢!

各位K2家長：
我囡囡會讀K1，係幼勇班，就黎開學，有d興奮，有d緊張，聽完30/8晚嘅家長會，更加覺得冇揀錯呢間學校，但有少少問題想請教各位：
1. 園長話今年每班老師人數加至3位，而今年幼勇班既老師係孫老師、周老師和鄭老師，想問下舊年邊位係幼勇班老師，邊位係新加？:D
2. 一班分4組，係K1成年，會否轉組？
3. 名牌扣係件圍裙度，因圍裙好薄，扣/除得多好易爛，有冇辨法？
4. 開學第一、二日可以陪上堂，比唔比影相同拍video (上堂之外時間)架？
唔該晒！！
