Glad to know that hoho has good improvement.  It seems that the i teacher is very good and experienced.  Ususally the training provided by i-teacher lasts only about 20 mins per day, as I heard.

Dear hinhinmummy,

I want to ask the information about S seat (HK island) for my friend.

Her child (with a-feature) will be 4 years old three months later.  She has applied for S seat in Oct 2004.  The medical social worker tells her that there is no S seat now.  Do you know how long she has to wait?  

As the boy does not pronounce clearly and does not speak complete sentence well, my friend is very very 焦急for the S seat.  Her child is studying the normal seat in my son's school.

Why do those children taking I seat change to S seat so easily?  Three children from my child's school have got the S seats (HK island) last summer.  Are they on the top priority to go to S seat?

我都不知要等幾耐呀? 我係2004年7月排的, 排到依家.... but 社工話我好大機會呀! kakab 好似係9月排? 有無記錯呢?

我估會不會因為i位易入, 甘d媽咪諗住點都讀住先, 但一有i位收, 佢地就排s位, 甘咪好似快好多? 但其實人地都等左1年呢?

I think our kids' time is very precious.  Is it possible for your to let hinhin take the i-seat training first while waiting for the availability of s seat?  Did you check with the social worker how long will you still need to wait?

我上年7月排的, 社工話今年應該有希望, 佢之前又無提議過排i位之後再排s位, 我又無諗過, 到最近先知有人係甘, 但又無理由就有位就放棄再排過i位架, 所以都係等...........

Agree with you.  Actually, most parents are unwilling to let their children study S seat.  Only if they find that no improvement has been shown after attending I seat will they try S seat.  S seat is the last choice.  

BTW, a mum tells me that if we are very very eager to get the seat, we can call the medical social worker all the time to 煩死佢,煩死佢,煩死佢 --- 精誠所致,金石為開!

我今日問過醫務社工, 話今年多了人選擇 "e" 位, 所以"i"位多了, & "i"位已派了第三輪 "后備", 派完"s"位的"e"位, 就派"i"位的"e"位, 我只伯剛剛開始排, 社工話今年不使只"意"啦.

請問點樣可以check 到邊間幼兒園而家 i 位仲有位？是否一定要間間都直接打電話去ask？唉好心煩，原本一心想仔排eetc and 番普通幼稚園，但見佢始終都係怪怪咁，同普通小朋友係有分別，又心大心細想比佢試下 i seat .....
