當我昨晚很眼訓但還要去iron昊霖的校服時....iron完個校章處,覺得痴痴地,無為意(有時iron太熱都會,未有理會),再iron其他處....噢!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
點解件白色裇衫有一撻撻紅藍點點!!!!範疇是有起碼5cmx5cm!
即刻,成個人醒哂!仲要已iron左落去,超實.即刻諗唔係掛.明天點算.捽又捽不脫.即刻去洗番.洗左好耐...好彩都脫到大部份.其他應不太覺.
嚇死.今朝又晨早彈起看看件衫乾未可否穿.好彩ok.
大家自己iron或是叫工人iron時要留意下呀.

Yesterday, when I took Trevor downstair to go to school, I found he was 神情呆滯.  Finally, I brought him back home to sleep and take 1 more day leave.

He has recovered already.  Thank you!

This morning, Trevor gave the photo to Miss So, Miss So pointed to his daddy and asked him who is he.  Trevor said he is “老公daddy”.  He made both of us laughing.

This morning I saw Mavis has 2辮子, she is very cute.

Trevor also have experience about the phlegm cannot come out and I don’t want him to drink too many western medicine.  I go to 余仁生to buy 猴棗未for him to eat.  It works after he took 6 – 8 bottles.  That taste is not bitter and only 1 day 1 small bottle.  But the price is very high, around HKD100 per bottle.

Now, I have changed to another.  When Trevor has cough at night (寒咳), I will let him drink 三蛇膽陳皮未, if he has cough in day time (熱咳), I will let him drink三蛇膽川貝未.  Both are not bitter and 1 day 1 bottle.  The price is lower, only HKD150 for 6 bottles. The point is both can 化痰.  I will give him this kind of Chinese Medicine after 4 hrs than give him western medicine for running nose.  So far, it works quite good.

I also confirmed with Miss So, Birthday Party will be held on Next Fri (27/10/2006).

I am also a parent who are going to apply for KV for my son...in next year K1..
I have received the letter from KV ...can someone tell me...is the interview will take on time...
my time slot is in the afternoon...
also how long and do we need to fill in any forms..apart from the application form?
what kind of question will ask??
since my son is a small child...he do not speak much..I am afraid...he will easily fail...

also if my hubby also go with us...is it he need to wear suit....like going to office? with tie??
I heard some people said going to KV and St. cat..for interview..need to wear very business like...

I remember there was a reply asking whether you would pick up the school uniform by your child after school today or by the parents on tomorrow morning at 9:00am.  Anyway, you better check with the class teachers for the right time.

Hi cutiemo,
Interview at Kentville usually takes place on time. No need to fill in any other form. Interview is short and quick and serious. I am quite sure that you would not like the school after the interview. Haha. But this is just a false impression. Kentville is really a nice school with caring and experienced teachers.
Questions asked are: What's your name? How old are you? Tell me where is the ball in the picture? What do you see in the picture? What is this (pointing to the slide) in the picture?
Do the matching games. Putting blocks up. (sth like that, I am not sure, cos it's my husband accompanied my daughter during the interview). Ask the child to recognise eyes, ears, mouth, nose and head. Ask your child to sing a song. Expect your child to say thank you when receives gift/candy from teachers. Expect your child to sit properly and to pull back the chair after interview. Teacher will ask the parent some general questions such as is the child potty trained, how old does your child start walking, how old does your child start talking.
I believe that it's still fine for a small child not to speak much as long as he is concentrated and well-behaved.
No need to wear suit and tie for kindergarten interviews, I guess. Smart casual is good enough. I wore business like when I went to St. Catherine's interview with my daughter because it's a Friday. My husband just wore smart casual when he went to Kentville interview with my daughter.

It's a very usual interview. Short and casual question will ask.

- be arrive on time. Better 15 mins earlier but don't be so early cause your child will be tired for waiting.
- interview takes around 10 mins. No form need to fill in but remember to bring all the necessary doc. that mention in the letter.
- simple questions like name, how old, build blocks, simple puzzle, recognize colors, shapes, sing song ... .
- be teach the child to point out if he/she is shy.
- as my opinion, big or small child is not so important as my boy's class also has many small boy/girl.
- only casual dressing is required.
- KV love kids with discipline and courtesy (it's also their teaching principle). So, don't be over-play and sleep well before interview.
- important, there will be a staff give a small gift (like a candy) to child when leave the interview room. She will give mark to the child also by recognize the name sticker (which distribute and require to stick on child's chest during the interview process). So, remember to tell your child say "Thank you" when receive the gift.
- as parents, relax and keep smile during interview. Be confident to your kids, and yourself. Pushing is not helpful.
