我都覺得係呀.  我仔P.3.

我睇過佢份COMPREHENSION, 真係好多野睇, 又要睇又要做, 其實真係唔夠時間, 而且我覺得好深下.  學校出咁深, 真係唔知為乜!!!??

I think the eng compre paper is a bit diffucult. Was it the same format in the past?

Nevertheless, all the other papers are covered by knowledge that pupils should know, only 1 or 2 questions are out of syllabus in every subject.  I think that's reasonable.   

I feel the school wants to focus on reading skill.  After the exam, my son did show initiation to read more as he wants to do good in the compre paper.  Despite the pressure in getting higher marks, it's encouraging!:

I'm so happy to know that my son's (P1) performance is quite good both in the class and in the whole form.  

Same as my estimation, the top approx. 35% students' average marks are 90 or above.

同個仔回校買嘢,
個個學生都好開心,
有所收獲
但係校方話慈善拍賣日都
不設找續, 對於學生來說,
比較困難哪?
希望有所改善.
妳們的孩子有無收獲呢？

唉也........ 原來不設找贖嗎?

俾咗 $100 阿仔 (p1), 只買了一支花 ($10), 佢話(好似)找咗
$90, 不過跌咗!!???  俾我閙一輪 以為佢唔小心, 我咪怪錯咗佢?

但通告好像沒有提及 "不設找贖" 喎! 是否預先講清楚讓家長準備輔幣, 尤其是低年班細囝有時仲係好懵!:cry:

      據我所知同級大部份都係讀維多利亞幼稚園。

As far as I know, the principal will mainly look for the interview performance of the kids. There is no special preference on the kindergarten. My son was only from a very ordinary kinder as well.

一位住在山景園的朋友告訴我們山景園會在今週進行拍賣投票, 若通過的話年底便會拆.  雖然現在拆樓的噪音已經沒以前般大, 但有些擔心會有很多灰塵及有d小生物走去學校.  加上條馬路本身已好窄, 真想像不到到時返學放學的交通會怎樣?

最大問題是那斜坡, 不知會點攪 ….

請問你們知不知詳細情況?

另早前搬校一事又有沒有新進展呢?

Basically 1:30 (One class 30 students)
是否會把每天的家課冊上載學校網站?
No, students should write down the homework details on their handbook everyday.  It's a kind of training for the boys to remember what they need to do.
For those notices for parents, they will be uploaded to the web and we can acknowledge through intranet.
會否要求學生參加指定的課外活動?
Recommend but it is not compulsory as some of the students attend ECA outside the school.
學校會不會有開放日? 如有, 大概是什麼時候?
Last year SPCPS had an open day for the 155th anniversary. I don't know whether there is an open day this year. You're better check it.

印象中P1沒有 Maths ECA，對六歲小朋友，圍棋班可能是一個更合適的腦力ECA 。

但香港小朋友太多腦袋ECA了，我推舉足球班。雖然昨天對某足球學校時又吃了８隻蛋，但連P3都有份落場，兼可以順道早一點培養 AQ。

從學校website看到JC1的curriculum, 英文除本科還有Communicative English & English ER (Enrichment & Remedial?).  但數學只有本科, 沒有ER.  阿仔d數麻麻, 唔知佢應不應付倒 .... 至於sports, 因佢現在有swimming & 武術, 佢又好期望參加boy scout (制服誘惑?????), 等佢到時再取捨了.  我也同意早點培養AQ對成長很有幫助.

另上ER是不是要再分成四班上? 是否每班的程度會有些不同?

好啦!  山景園因bid價太低拍賣不成了.

Yes, there are 4 ER classes with color as class name.  A few years age, the colors were purple, yellow, green and red.  

The school does work hard not to put too much pressure on the students.  It is easy to spot the best group but not easy to identify the standard of the remaining three.

Also, the boy scout will start at P4. There will be a simple selection process by the school at P3.

Receiving the lunch order list today and found that no lunch on Jun 18-19 & 23-30. Anyone knows P1 will have day off or half day school on these days?
