I have a long and very happy holiday with Cheuk Yiu.  For the 語文活動日, I will ask the maid to take her to school for fun on that day but I will probably not going.

I noted from the schedule that A3 class is going to have stage performance at 3:30 p.m. on 19 Jan.  Do you know "what" is it and "who" of our class is going to perform?  I just wonder why not all of the class to perform!!!

Hi all
just received the book order form of ordering books from Wai Fat.  Do you know if these are the learning materials to be used in class or just for our own use at home?  If these are just for our own, it's not necessary to order all from this company.  Any advice?

語文活動日唔係全班表演的，之前見個有小朋友表演朗誦，至於仲有乜野活動我都唔係好清楚呀，如果無乜特別，我都唔打算去啦。

thanks for your info!  you mean K1小朋友表演朗誦, a boy or girl, so smart!  Maybe I will ask the maid to take Cheuk Yiu to school to see her class' performance.

For the books, I bought all last term as I guessed that all for school use.  Per your advice, I will only order those with "*".

I called the class teacher, she said A2 class will have class singing performance, not individual, may be you can call A3 class teacher for details.

I only buy the ones with *, for 1st term, I also bought other items, but not very useful, seems too baby!

Re Language Dev Day:

Called school this morning who advised that individual class's notice will be distributed to the parents soon advising when to be back to school, dress code, what performance ...... etc.  Each class will be different.

hi all HMT維多利亞2006 K1 parents,

My son's now joining the HMT playgroup and i've also applied for pre-nursery and will have an interview in feb. Would you kindly share how the interview will be conducted and would the chance be higher if the candidate is joining playgroup?

Also, do you know how many classes would be offered for pre-nursery? As I've checked the web site and it stated that there would be am class only for pre-nursery, so just wonder if the places would not be that many.

Re interview - as far as I remember, it's a group interview that several kids singing and playing together, both at classroom and music room, and the teachers would observe aside.    As we are the first batch of students who enter into the pre-nursery class of this kinder two years ago, not sure if the interview content would be different now.

Not sure if chance would be higher but Cheuk Yiu had the same case as your son, i.e. joined the playgroup first, then applied pre-nursery at age 2, now promoted to K1.

Sorry that I don't have an idea of the class distribution next year!  Good luck!

Have received A3 class notice regarding activities on Language Dev Day yesterday.  I will let Cheuk Yiu join but I probably not apply leave to go.
