As long as a teacher isn't leaving in the middle of semester year that is fine. Kids will meet different teachers as they advance to the next level anyway.
In terms of project loading, my nephew (who graduated from the school this year) told me he spent approx 1.5 hours per day handling all his homework. Let's assume my nephew is a lazy boy (in fact he was one of the prefect leaders in school) and that every P6 student should have spent 2-2.5 hours per day instead. Is this acceptable to you?
As far as I'm aware the homework workload isn't heavy at all for P1-P3 students. I think everyone should be able to complete their homework within an hour on average. Perhaps yanyan-mummy can confirm this for us !!! |
