The information you have is very general and it is only a rough indication, every year, there is slight adjustment due to the different no. of students in P6.  The figures I have were given by the teacher in July when we received the School Report, and these apply to the coming year.  You can see that at least the top 50% is guaranteed.

Dear 倬睿媽咪,
You are correct.  But what I am worrying is it is not the top 50% is guaranteed.   It seems that the top 35-50% need to attend a lucky draw and writing test.  So you have to keep to top 30% to make sure you could get the seat.

So you are saying that the top 35% is guaranteed.  Well, no matter how, kids will need to work hard and do their best, since a slight error will kick him/her out for over 50 places!!  We better be careful
