今早打去, 佢地話k2上午班無位, 下午班都係得幾個咋, 如果有位都會比現時讀緊k1而申請讀上午班的小朋友. 學校叫我地考慮將細佬轉返下午班. 我放棄唔交留位費啦!

你係咪會讀祟真呀, 佢哋都收咗我個仔, 可能有機會做同學架!  你仲有無報其他學校呀?  我會交留位費先, 然後再睇吓有無其他較好的學校收佢再作考慮.  我自己本人都幾鐘意呢間學校, 尤其是有咁多native eng teachers, 真係好多名校都無喲, 但係我老公成日都好"恨"個仔入到九龍塘嗰啲名校, 我真比佢激死, 其實名唔名校我自己就覺得唔太重要, 最緊要前途好啫!

Hi Kling,

What I heard, the syllabus of both the mainstream and the Int'l stream are the same. Just that english is taught by native speaking teachers and the Chinese is being taught in mandarin. This is why I choose int'l stream rather than mainstream.  
But $$$ is one of my concern, the school fee of int'l stream is expensive!

你咁好野，竟然有人回覆你！我今早未夠9點就打電話去，想問下關於轉上午班o既o野，佢叫我留低電話比佢，但係到現在都未有人覆我！

Where are you live? I live in Cheung Sha Wan, and I want my son the Englisht is better so I want to change him to Int'l class,but my husband don't like hime to Kln tong,(so far he feel),so I just can choice 祟真 near by my home.
anyway,祟真 is a good choice.

How about your planning for your son in futher?pls share with me.

I live in kwai chung, although there're many schools around, I don't like.  so I will send my son to study out of the district anyway.  He's now studying in Keen Mind Nursery, and he goes to school by school bus.  It's ok, no problem.  the routes of the school bus is just fit.  

the reason i apply for TsuiTsai is because its "one dragon".  At the begining, i just treat it as a stand-by, but after the interview and got more information about this school, I love it very much.  However, i've also applied other kindergartens and will attend their interviews later.  i'm still not yet confirm which one he'll study.  Actually i just want my son to study in a relax and happy school instead of the intensive hard work school, but my hubby prefer he study in the kind of traditional famous school.  so, let see!  But anyway, I've already pay the reservation fee to buy the insurance!

Why don't you let your son study in Keen Mind Kinder? It also provides the international class and the primary allocation result seems good.

as pat said.. keen mind kinder is good for BOY!! because most boy could enter la sai.... But those girl?????????..........

All K1 (i.e. kindergarten) in HK only has half-day class.  It is EMB's policy.  If you want full day service, you must consider nursury/child care centre(CCC).  Some schools have both KG and CCC licences.  And in fact, both KG and CCC have come under EMB's supervision starting from 2005 school year. That's why some parents have a mis-concept that there is "full time K1".

Hi Pat:

In fact he's currently studying in KeenMind's international class, but I think its still weaker than TsuiTsai's int'l class because they use a lot of Cantonese (only my opinion).  Although there's a native Eng teacher full time in the class, but the other two teachers and the class helper are speak in Cantonese, and also Mandarin class seems not enough: only several lessons in a week, not full time, in conculsion, just my opinion, I feel that TsuiTsai's language environment is better.

Regarding the primary allocation, last year they have 16% student went to La salle, it do seems good, but I just afraid my son will fall into the remaining 84%, it will cause embarrase situation becuase we don't have the advantage in residential district.  That's why Tsui Tsai is one of my choice.

But anyway, stay in KeenMind is still my alternative, I'll observe it this year.
