got interviewed today at Kentville. The campus is like a secondary school (nothing kiddi!!).  My kid performed well but I did not intend to enter this school.

indeed after the 3 rounds of interviews. I tend to take Stafford.  reasons:

1. small setting
2. warm and caring feel
3. good English track record
4. many extra cir. (one stop shop !!)
5. no need to change to pm class (as in KV and SC) as from K2
6. have full-day option as from K2 in Stafford
7. really 2-class teacher establishment per class

Reasons against Stafford may be:
1. not enough Chinese/PTH teaching (SC will have 3 lessons per week as from K2)
2. the name is not as famous as SC if primary schools give stress on such background
3. network of parents rather small
4. school fee relatively high
5. less picky in admitting students (SC tends to admit 'smart' kids as rumoured)

Do stafford start school in August ?  KV and SC will start in Sept, right?

Really headaching!

Btw, so far, we did not hear any body not admitted by Stafford. Does this mean Stf actually admits any children as said on York?

I think I also tend to choose Stafford because of the same reasons as you stated, esp. whole-day class & its stress on English teaching. I am a working mum & work from 9 to 9 every weekdays. I have only limited time to teach my kid. I want her to make sure she can learn more in school. I think a whole-day in school is much better than staying at home with my maid after half-day school.
For St Johannes, as I said, it also puts stress on English teaching & the Eng. standard is high. One advantage of it is its primary school which Stafford doesn't have.
I really don't have much info of St Johannes & need to find out in interview next Sat. I will then make a decision between it & Stafford.

Chinese name is "Sing  Yeuk Mong" - Sorry I have diffficulty in typing Chinese with my home computer.

It's primary school is in Waterloo Road, Kln Tong while kindergarten section is in Flint Road (opposite to CCKG, near Maryknoll Convent), Kln Tong

It's very low key & seems not so open to disclose its information to public. However, many good quality people said it's good & I also read comments of BK mums. You can refer to the topic - SJC Club in kindergarten forum.

D interviewer 好似趕收工咁，
囡囡今朝又不在狀態唔係條條問題都肯答，

To me, I think I still tend to choose Stafford unless St Johannes give me a "SUPER DEE DUPER " impression in the coming interview.

Stafford seems to be quite all-rounded in teaching students & more open-minded.

Thanks. I will try but even if not ok with late application. No big deal at all.

Btw, if you choose Sfd eventually, any plan re filling the gap in PTH/Chinese learning.  This is the only point I am concerned about re choosing Sfd.

So far my kid is more willing to speak in English than Chinese as she learnt it in her daily playgroup classes & from VCD like Barney. Her Chinese accent is a bit like my maid.
However, I am not so worry as I think she will get more chances to communicate with other people anyway in Chinese when she enters kindergarten. And I think her accent will be corrected.
If she still opt for English more, I think it's still ok as this means her English standard is good enough for her to communicate in daily life.   
To me, I have not so rush to let her learn too much langauage. Instaed, I want her to build a better foundation in English & Cantonese before K2. I think to let her learn PTW & other second language (like French) after K 2 is OK for me.
That's my plan but you know it all depends how exactly her language development progress by then.
If there are good course teaching her better Chinese (reading & using), I am interested to join.  
Besides, I think we can supplement her Chinese by reading Chinese story books at home.

好似今年開學甘..係8月10日就開學...我唸暑假都係得兩個禮拜掛...7月尾1個禮拜＆８月頭第一個禮拜...所以收12個月囉....
