My son is not unhappy.  But I can't say that he's very very happy.  Perhaps he's still not familiarized with his classmates (he can only tell name of 2 classmates).  Take time !

尋日我終于明白點解老師係briefing個日話以前D家長係小朋友請假日(even sick)都要拿功課啦。 亞仔前日請假, 尋日要做番前日所有堂課、家課+尋日家課，結果要做共8 大版功課，真係      。好彩tum tum下都做晒, 哎...以後都唔敢請假啦！

Hi:
   I want to ask, your son don't mention the school life at home? He always say nothing or talking  impossible thing when I ask he some question. Sometimes he will cover his ear. I wonder he don't like to talk or he forget the lession. Usually, how long for your son to do the homework , less or over 1/2 hour, and how many chops you earn from your son homework. My son always get 2-3 chops.

Thank you for your feedback.I chose this name co's it is easy to remember. My son was born in December, so he is a "small boy". And I hope his performance won't be far behind the other of the class.

Thanks for your feedback. I've called a parent of class B, and he told me that he should do 2 rows of T and 3 rows of L. I just keep trying to ask him and hope he can give me the correct answer in the future. Sorry to reply you so late co's I was away from HK for a few days.

Disney trip is wonderful.  We stayed at DisneyLand Hotel.  Service and room facilities are all nice.  So my son already asked me on the 2nd day back when is our next trip to Disney lah.

Our class teacher also suggested to us NOT to collect homework on leave days ga.  Bur she further said that in the past, parents always collected homework despite her suggestion.  Now I understand why those parents collect homework lah.  If you take 2-3 days leave, really     .

My son talks a lot about school life at home, even details of his dialogue with teachers, actions, etc., and he even 模彷teacher's tone.  Very funny.      

But of course I can't tell whether his descriptions are all true lah.

He can finish homework within 1/2 hours but I need to accompany him.  But of course except that day with 8 pages homework lah.

yee, there's chop on homework mei ?? I didn't notice tim.  Will count count today.  you mean 2-3 chops on 1 page?

Hello youngmami:
    I discovered the chop ( someimes is duck or train) on every page after finish the homework. You can find the tick and the chop on the page. I am not sure it is the mark or not? But, I find the better one writting had more chop and the bad writing had 1 chop.
   I think you must very happy and feel fanny when you listen your telling you the school life. Today, I ask him how about . he see the teacher. He said no teacher in the lession. No eating or drinking. No singing. I say why everything is nothing ?
     I start find the really homework is coming because I find 3 books to write. It is difficult for me to guide him because he did not any write before. No writing in the previous school and I also let him be free in the past. It is hard for me and him. How about the other mami ? Your son is no writing before or already basic knowledge of K1?

My husband was the student of St. Jo elementary and college. Is that my son will have more chance to get into this school? I want my son study St Jo kinder when he is 3.

My son's previous school had no homework at all. Starting from June, I bought some exercises book for him to write, he used to do some "homework" everyday. But, his writing is terrible, so he got only 1 chop. I'm already very happy since he's willing to finish the homework.

St. Jo has no K1 bor, it's starting from K2. In the application form, there are columns to fill whether your father / brother were old boys. It might has higher chance ??

Same as you, my son didn't have any homework or writing exercise in classes last year in old kinder.  

BTW, do we need to review all items listed on the paper distributed every Friday?  even songs, stories, etc.  Or this paper is only telling parents what kids have learnt during that week jar ?      

Anyone knows ?
