If possible, please encourage your child to do it by himself/herself everyday and make it as a habit.
I think it takes only about 5-15 minutes to complete it, depending on individual kid's reading ability.
You only need to coach your child how to do it for the first few times and then s/he should be able to do it on his/her own.

You can check your child's performance online later on.

The Chinese teachers will not count the marks but they might "remind" some pupils to do it in case they do not do it at all.

話時話, principal, 你的囝囝or囡囡讀幾年班? so far我覺得p1好似都算輕鬆, 但我聽其他家長講, p3開始會唔輕鬆, 是嗎?

I totally agree with principal, I must force my kid to finish the "每日一篇" if time is allowed.  He only got a little to do everyday after school and I didn't buy any extra exercise for him.  I think it is so environment friendly to do some extra exercise from the internet. According to the notice, it is no need for French stream students to do it ka!

I wonder whether school will also have any other English website or Maths website for P1 to do, too!

Tomorrow will be the boys of 1A to have their 1st swimming lesson la, I took the whole morning to pack for him, mark down names on PE uniform, underwear, socks, slippers, cap, swim trunks, the shoes, the bags, but really have no idea how to mark it on the goggles!

You can either write the name on the inside (underside) of the straps using permanent market (but you will need to check quite often to ensure that the name has not been washed off), or like us, use cloth name-labels (I had some made several years ago and still have stock), and somehow tie it to the strap of the goggles. (e.g. sew it into a ring and put it through the strap if there is a forked strap).  (forked = there is a gap in the middle of the strap through which you can tie the cloth).
