My son is studying in Kentville K.1, up till  now, there is no homework.  He is very happy and never cry even on the first day of school.

Kentville is a very good school.  It is a traditional school which brought lots of knowledge to pupils.  And I like traditional school since it will be more easy to get use to the Primary 1.

Don't worry, your son still cannot talk because boy talk lately.  Try to train him more know about colours, identify pictures with object, sing a song (even he cannot talk, but he can dance instead).  At least, try your best to teach him to pronounce his name.

小兒昨晚說學了個"爸"字, 還說爸=daddy! 人卻早2 星期已學, 因為我只跟足字咭上每個星期所教的3 個, 就問他那3 個字, 沒有預先教他!

Hi everyone,

My son was feeling not well yesterday.  When I told him that he didn’t need to go to school because of his sick.  He was so happy since he missed his toys for 2 days already and he had a chance to play with them.  

Unfortunately, I bought him to see the doctor together with the last injection of the HIB. He cried like crazy at the end.  

After we went out of the clinic, he told me he will go to school tomorrow.  I think he is so afraid of the injection.  : )

However, our doctor recommends my son to take the 流感針 after he get well.  He said this month is the 流感高峰期.  Have any of you decided to take the 流感針 for your kids?

Can anyone tell me what is the school fee & misc fee for K1 of Kentville?  How many students on each class?  It is because I would like to apply for my daughter.  Any special things which I need to mention during her interview??  Please comment.  Many Thanks.

My son has the same reaction.  What kind of 興趣班 is your daughter attending?

My son is joining a PIP class in the art centre.  There are telling story from the teacher, singing some songs, and trying to act as the character of the story.  For the last 3 lessons, he did not want me to leave him.  This saturday will be the last lession.  I don't think he will have any improvment, but I will try.

oh！原來只係每星期教3個生字呀？但係上個月我已經教晒學校的字卡，咁？點算呀？都係唔好咁快教佢住，等佢上堂專心d。

Tue (7:00pm - 7:30pm) piano class**
Sat (11:00am - 1:00pm) English playgroup

** piano class need to accompany parent that why I arrange it at night time.
